I forgot to mention the charging needle sits at the white 16 mark. Not yet in the red, but is it a concern. I hope I don't have to buy another altinator 😟

Perhaps he meant to say "genitator."

Actually I'm interested in the thread because it sounds like the same issue my 85GT has - it overcharges and kills batteries at highway speeds, but doesn't charge enough at idle. I have everything to upgrade to a CS130, but if the alternator is not the problem...
