Stock Delco radio isn't working, all fuse's are good, curious if the unit is also fused behind the dash? Any common issues with the below model to check for?
Would be nice to have some tunes while I rebuild all the mechanicals/sort issues as that's where the budgets priority is for now, a bill+ for a modified stock unit is out of budget for now.

Maybe not to this car, but it is a Delco Spec II, pretty basic as is the car.

That almost looks like one of the Audiovox radios made to resemble GM radios.
Hard to tell where it's fused. Normally there is a switched 12V radio fuse, and constant 12V fuse. I believe the constant 12V is supplied by the lighter fuse.
Normally, the switched 12V is in the large connector on the corner of the radio. The constant 12V is in the separate 1 or 2 wire connector, that comes out of the middle of the rear housing. Should be an orange wire.

The radio fuse is in the fusebox under the left side of the dash. But considering that's not an original Fiero radio, there's no telling how it was wired in.

As suggested above, I would pull the radio and check the wiring. The 12V battery (constant power) line is orange. The switched 12V line (on with ignition) is yellow.

It's an old Clarion and it works, but someone butchered the wiring installing. I may clean the wiring up and use it for the time being
Oddly it has a DIN input, surprising for such a basic radio.

There may be a fuse in-line with the wiring of that radio. Only way to know is to remove it. GM, Ford, and Chrysler dealers used to sell aftermarket radios that resembled factory units. They used to be on display in the showrooms along with the optional factory units and they were mostly made by Audiovox If you say that your's is a Clarion...guess they made em too.

Some of the Audiovox aftermarket units included one of those round glass style fuses. I say "some" because i've mostly seen that on early 80's GM cars that didn't have the 12v constant power source as part of that two wire radio connector. Two wires being brown and orange, I believe. One is the 12v constant and the other is back-lighting for the radio when the headlights are on. When the installer had to run a separate wire or tap into another circuit, they would (hopefully) use that fuse.

Factory radios are a dime-a-dozen at a wrecking yard. Pretty much any DelcoGM up until 1988 will fit the Fiero. 1989-on they changed the wire connector and although there are adaptors to go from the older connector to the newer style...they cost money. Since you're making the smart choice, saving your cash for the more important parts of your restoration...try Craigslist for someone possibly giving a radio away. Search Delco radio or Delco cassette.

I've found a few with the AUX mod for less than $100, but as you said, the wiring is different after 89'. Maybe I'll find one on here.
There's a guy that has a Fiero radio for sale here for $20 on CL, back in Dec, he hasn't answered me.

Shame the PO or someone else butchered the factory harness.

My harness is hacked up too... then someone tried to fix it with an army of crimped butt splices... I don't like looking in there.

I searched for any Delco reference and nada... As soon as you said Clarion, search results came up for the Clarion Spec II... not much though. A guy with a Mustang looking for a pin out and a guy with an old Chevy looking for the same.

I would replace it, honestly you can get a better radio for almost nothing these days, with a digital tuner and a clock even. Heck, Delco was using digital tuners years before the Fiero was introduced.
