since you do not live in Pheonix or New Mexico, toss it. My opinion.

Heres a link to a thread with a write-up I did to re-wire the blower so it works at all times. Very easy procedure, anyone can do it.

My thinking is this, if you plan to throw it out anyway, you might as well let it work til it fails before you do. Mine hasn't died yet!

thanks, i dont even know if it works, i'll check it first with the cooling fan on.
then i'll definitely make it run all the time, it gets very hot in there.
i do have the one pipe by egr valve, have to look for other one.
