I don't think that was used on the LP9 V6. I think it was only used on the 4 cylinder engines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trionic seems to agree with that.

It is a 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.8t. I threw out the factory computer because it was too limited as to the tuning capabilities. I wound up using the AEM Infinity (which is an amazing product) and had to change the crank sensor to the 3.6 hall effect type to make it work.

Too limited in terms of making more power, or too limited in terms of cutting out pieces you didn't need?

In order to function properly, it needed to see some signals on the CAN line that were not available. It still would start and run, but I wasn't happy with the small details. I also wanted to be able to fine tune the ecu myself, but that wasn't an option with the ME9.6.

Right now, my car is just waiting for a time slot at the dyno shop to get tuned with the AEM.
