Is ther a different way to mount the shifter cables with a 3800(on a 4 speed)? It seems the exhaust gets right in the way..

That looks good, the only problem is I do not have the ability to weld.

Is it true that the manifold from the 3800 Camaros will bolt right up?

I modified my setup using a replacement bracket from Rodney Dickman. Follow his directions but mount the new piece at the required angle and your done. $35.00 and no welding required. Been driving mine for 2 years now and the screw fasteners are still holding up.

Oh ya. What he said. I've done a few 3800 4 speed swaps where I modified my cable bracket. Wish I'd known about that
