In a Sept. 27 post, [a blogger posting under the name "David DePape"] said [that] any journalists who denied Trump’s false claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election “should be dragged straight out into the street and shot.”
This is a fairly brief report. It includes startling details which are linked to the assailant himself, David DePape, and jaw-dropping remarks that were recently posted online by someone who called himself "David DePape".
It's the best reportage on the assailant and on remarks that are likely the words of the assailant that I've laid eyes on.

After Democrats ran ads against Paul Ryan showing a Paul Ryan look-alike rolling a grandmother in a wheelchair off a cliff, James Hodgkinson attempted the mass assassination of Republican members of Congress. His attack came after more than one Democrat Congressman said Republicans wanted you to die as their solution to healthcare. It came after Democrats said Republican plans for “net-neutrality” would kill people. It came after Democrats said Republican tax cut proposals and Obamacare reforms would kill people.
The media never suggested Democrat rhetoric led to the mass assassination attempt on Republicans.
After a would-be assassin showed up to kill Bret Kavanaugh, the media never suggested all the hyperbole, attacks, and discredited smears on Kavanaugh provoked the assassin to target Kavanaugh specifically among the five justices who voted to overturn Roe.
But Paul Pelosi gets attack at 2:30 a.m. in his San Francisco home by a man in underwear and every major media outlet in America suggests Republican attacks on Nancy Pelosi caused it. The Washington Post, which never did a story suggesting left wing rhetoric caused the mass assassination attempt on Republicans, did a full story on how the Pelosi attack came after years of right wing attacks on Pelosi.
You’ll have to forgive me, but it actually is more and more clear that much of the political press in America has picked a side. More importantly, I think most Americans now know the political press has picked a side.
This now explains why Herschel Walker in Georgia can surge into the lead in Georgia despite all the allegations against him. The public does not believe them and does not think the press has fairly covered the matter.
This explains why Dr. Oz is surging into the lead in Pennsylvania. The public now realizes how much water the press carried for John Fetterman.
This also explains what is about to happen. The American people realize that if the press has carried this much water for John Fetterman, reporters really are covering for Joe Biden’s mental and physical decline.
Sometime after 2am, David DePape forced his way into Paul and Nancy Pelosi’s home in San Francisco. Pelosi told the intruder he needed to use the restroom and went into the bathroom where his cell phone was and called 911. The intruder intended to detain Pelosi until the Speaker of the House arrived. Police arrived within two minutes of the 911 call and saw signed of forced entry. They found Pelosi and DePape both holding hammers. DePape took Pelosi’s hammer from him and began attacking Pelosi. Police stopped him.
Contrary to some reports, the 911 call between Pelosi and police involves Pelosi saying he did not know who the intruder was but that the intruder himself identified himself as a friend.
The man is, yet again, a crazy person, and we do not know how or why he was able to get into the Pelosi home at that time of night.
David DePape was a drug addled homeless man who lived in a hippie enclave. He suffered from delusions and was estranged from his pedophile lover. He professed that Jesus of Nazareth was the anti-Christ and his professed politics wove together Black Lives Matter, left wing rhetoric, anti-semitism, and right wing QAnon conspiracies.
The man was a psychotic drug addict with an amalgamation of views as crazy people often have.
That the media is using this, less than ten days before the election, to try to help Democrats and claim Republican rhetoric provoked the attack is dishonest, disingenuous, and yet again discrediting.
Even ignoring the article, the comments are priceless. Also, there was, apparently, a third person in the house, who opened the door for the police. (What?!)
Whatever happened here, there is no mention of private security. I'm frankly stunned that the Speaker of the House wouldn't have their own security, especially after the recent Kavanaugh incident.
We will see how good the media machine handles this embarrassment for Nancy. I'm sure they have the PR Crisis team on full assalt mode to burying this story.
Yeah, the default is just to call this guy a racist Maga Republican. That's always the default before the truth comes out. But we are seeing now that is a gay escort and P Pelosi likes to do a bit of sick ducking. That will be hard to bury, but I think they will be successful in burying it.

There were QAnon-style and other weird and alarming messages that were posted online by the assailant, but they were not posted immediately before the assault. Those messages were posted months and in some cases years before the assault. They were not posted "in the dead of night" after the assailant started on his physical journey from wherever he was, immediately prior to the assault, as that meme-like narrative has it.
The active Secret Service protection at this Pelosi residence was not in effect. That's only when the Speaker herself is using this residence. Something else that does not square with this misleading provocation.
It seems obvious that the police who responded did not want to fire any of their guns at the assailant when he was grappling hand to hand with Paul Pelosi as both tried to wrest control of the hammer from each other, out of concern for "collateral damage" from lethal rounds. I have not seen that the San Francisco Police or prosecutor's office have gone back and changed anything that they had already said (publicly) about the case. Over the passage of days, they have added to what they had already said, but (so far as I am aware) they have not contradicted or tried to change anything that they had already said. Can anyone say different?
The suspect was "Mirandized" and after waiving his right to an attorney, submitted to questioning and interviewing by the police, the record of which is now part of the evidence.
As far as publicly releasing police body camera footage, they may yet find reason to do that, but so far? I don't see any reason for the San Francisco Police or prosecutor's office to release any of the body camera recordings. Nancy Pelosi, Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr and umpteen million other "rando's" are free to assert, speculate or bloviate about the case as they wish. That should not factor into whether any of the police body camera recordings are released to the public.
