IIRC, this car was started by Bubba Jo in Toronto, sold to Ryan in Niagara Falls then to someone in Kitchener. Lost track thereafter & haven't found the historical threads on here.

An interesting unique design and a very clean install. Just wonder why it has had so many owners and its up for sale again? There is a ton of work there but probably not for most folks tastes. Not that I am one of them but if you go to Carlisle about 90% of the owners still have cars that have stock engines and transmissions,

I suspect at some point down the line after the two builders were done with it, that there might've been a new owner or two who were hoping to flip it for a profit.

That is a really nice job modding the car....beautiful looking and very professional. I am not a big fan of the N-star engines (Heavy and complicated)

The center-console looks very interesting- seems like it is smaller than normal....where do they put the gas?

The dash and centre console appears to from another model, maybe a ‘90’s Pontiac Firebird TA. The petrol tank is in the same position as an unmodified Fiero.

Dash and console are 3rd Gen Firebird - console just looks narrow in the pictures. JScott1 has a build thread on this process.

This vehicle was displayed at Fieros at Carlisle last weekend. The workmanship was very nice but an engine that features carburetors is IMO a poor choice today... That's 50 year old technology often used by people that don't have the ability to figure out how to use an infinitely tunable, efficient PCM/ECM controlled ,fuel injection system.

Such a unique car

Loved the time when these types of builds were actively ongoing...glad it is in such great shape.

Subtle and awesome.

I've always thought very highly of that build and the car in general. I wish I didn't see that pic of the door sill

This picture? It is kind of odd that with all the fantastic work done on the car, that this one area (no doubt on both sides) has never been nicely finished.

Not sure the overall quality of the product or if its just signs of age and multiple owners at this point. A bunch of fit and finish work is required to bring this to the level it should be.

Modified Fieros almost never get back the cost and work put into them. I honestly believe that if the car had a modern fuel injection system instead of all those individual carburetors sticking through the deck lid, the bids may have gone higher. Actually 17K IMO was a very reasonable bid. When attending Carlisle over the years, I have parked, displayed and driven in heavy rain storms. Can't do that with this odd creation.

Opps my bad. I thought that I saw this car at Carlisle but it appears that it was a different Fiero. Still my comment on fuel injection may still apply but where is the engine heat directed on this one? I certainly like modified cars but especially those with good engineering.
