Is there a 4t65e regular trans and hd trans? Or are they all hd? If not how do you know the difference? Which cars came with what?

Yes. The 4T65E and the 4T65E-HD. The HD came behind the Supercharged Motors. the NA cars got the non-HD trans. Not sure how to tell them apart except that the pass side of an HD trans will not except a non-HD axle,

LS4s come with the 4t65ehd too.

Ok there is something that I certainly did not know.

Wow, this being the case...... why are so many people having axle problems when building out the 3800SC engines? I can not imagine that they would have more torque than the LS4, and certainly not the weight of many of the LS4 cars.
