Ok, the auto trans selector indicator "thing".....or whatever its called. You know, that orange bar that moves up and down in your shift indicator telling you what gear your in. Mine is way out of wack. Sounds like it should be a simple fix, but I don't want to start breaking any kind of clips while pulling the console apart. Anybody got some tips on this one ?

Pointer just slips on the shifter when install the console. No adjustment needed or possible. If doesn't move then console is installed wrong.

Paint on it or pointer can fade to white from sun light (UV). Can't fix it w/o breaking plastic light fixture.

Shift "knob" is attach to shifter w/ a clip you pull/push from front. Used wheel block so can shift to D etc to see it. then pull 4 screws under ash trays.

I had to fix mine. Simple. Take off the boot and plate, reposition the indicator and away you go.
