I am in need of some advice/tips when it comes to a swap wiring harness. I am a complete novice and I am so confused. I downloaded the wiring chart sinister created, but I cant quite make sense of it. I have never been good and reading information and then applying it to pratical use. I am more the show me while hands on kind of person. Is there any videos of a 3400 LA1swap wiring harness being built, or a video on how to read a chart like sinisters?

You likely need to read that before trying alldatadiy.com, Haynes and other books too.
Haynes and others books are unreliable for engine swaps. Alldata have exact data for Model Year of car.
Example: Some C500 pins change for MY of car your dealing at the time.
