Just picked up this 84 for 400 bucks. motor has a noise in it but it runs and drives ok. didn't really need or want it but figured it'd end up in a junkyard if I didn't get it.

planning on trying to get the title taken to dmv before I do anything to it (hopefully tomorrow), need to figure out whats wrong with the motor and just clean it up some and make it a driver for now.

Nice, I have a soft spot for bumper pads. The 84 I paid about that much for last summer ended up going to the junkyard anyways due to extensive rust. Hopefully yours isn't too hard to keep on the road.

This one doesn't have really any rust that I've noticed, it is burning some oil and ticking. It only has 109k on it I got the title sent off this morning for it. what other 2.5s would swap into it if I were to swap it out with another.

Anyone in nc have a good 2.5 they want to get rid of?

I have a 47k complete drop out with 4speed harness and exhaust that was in my daily driver. Dropped 2 months ago for 3800 swap. Passed emissions 2 weeks before and ran great. I am second owner. sitting on the cradle stored inside. asking 500.00 in Nashville Tn. No issues.
