They are about twice as bright as the original lights. The color is amber and contain 24 LEDs.

Yes they do. I had added the bridge rectifier when I installed the leds in the marker lights.
That story is found HERE

For the parking/turn it required a 50v 6watt load resistor to be installed.

Resistors are not rated for volts and 6w is far too low. If is like most of them then should be 50W 6Ω wire wound in an Aluminum shell.

Aluminum power resistor are rated at X Watts with a heatsink. At minimum should mount them to the car's frame because each 6Ω resistor at 14VDC eats 2.3A (A=V/R) and dumps around 33 Watts. (W=V²/R)
