I got a great deal on a 2005 Mustang dash, and was wondering if anyone has ever tried putting one in a Fiero. The width of the mustang dash is 53.5 inches and it is 13.5 inches deep. Looking for some thoughts.
Thanks
Tom

I think the fiero dash is about 54.25 if i remember correctly. Try it! You will probably have to cut out the defrost section and most of the forward portion of the stang dash to get it to fit behind the fiero steering wheel. Try it out.

Width and depth shouldn't be an issue, but I wonder if it is a little too tall. I look forward to seeing how this goes. Post pics if you move forward with trying it.

Well finally got around to test fitting the mustang dash. Here are some pictures of what it could look like. Let me know what you guys think.

Not bad. Looks like there isn't a lot of knee room though, especially on the passenger side. How does it match the curve of the windshield?

I like it... the contours of the dash match very well to the rest of the boxy interior features.

The leg room on the passenger side is the only big issue right now. The glove box definitely won't fit, so taking that out would probably free u some room. It fits against the window pretty well, It isn't perfect as you can see in this picture.

I like it, nice to see something different. How much clearance is there from the shifter to the center of the dash?

Looks pretty good, maybe needs to be tucked in a little closer to the windsheild/rework the defroster area.

Hmm. I wonder what it would look like with just the top dash placed over the fiero dash and consoles. Might tie everything together into a less-modular, more cohesive design? Or, it might just look like a camaro dash from the 80's.
That mustang dash looks really good in there!

That is a nice fit, but what do you intend to do for gauges? I'm pretty sure the Mustang gauges won't work without serious electrical work. Aftermarket??
