My first Fiero. Low rust underneath. First job was to clean the old 2.5L, decreased and de leafed. Had to work on the clutch system.

Exhaust off and starter removed. Blah. Engine needs more degreaser and a power washing on the underside. Think I will go ahead and remove the cat and put high flow Thrush muffler. But first still have to see if this 2.5L will fire. New Starter Saturday.

Now to figure what I am going to do about the cooling fan. The brackets that hold the fan is completely gone. Better yet. Car cam with now fan at all.

Could you please post a couple of pictures of the wires coming off the positive side of the battery for me? A prior owner of my 84 messed with the routing but it looks ugly, and I'd like to fix the mess up.

Here's pictures of the area I'm talking about.

I don't have pictures.
Looks like just use nylon ties so won't be cut by belts/pulleys.
Likely the clips are broken/missing.

Please try using [img thumb] not [img] on big pictures. That way people can read easy and if they want/need big view they just click on them.

Other things are likely problems now or soon to worry about...
84 is allot different wire plan...
All Alt wires go thru C500.
Most power goes to Starter Main power via Fusible Links.

Some 84 data are in my Cave, Wire Service and Alternator Sense

That looks bad... really bad.

I think you better have a look at This thread before you invest anymore time or money on the Fiero you've acquired.
