The Fiero vs Corvair subject was discussed in another thread. They are really two different cars with little similarity. They handle and perform quite differently. One has the engine and transmission behind the rear wheels and the other is mid engine. As for looks, I believe that both are nice looking. The Corvair was GM's competitive answer to Volkswagen and ran for 10 years. By 1969 when the suspension and handling were optimized, it was dropped from production. Sound familiar?
