When I purchased my '88 Coupe from forum member Wiccantoy in 2007 it had sequential rear turn signals using the original sockets and bulbs. Chris (Wiccantoy) said it was a control unit from some GM car (I believe) and gave me a piece of paper with the part number and crude hand sketched wiring diagram.
I am generally very meticulous about saving information such as that but somehow I have managed to loose that piece of paper.
From this brief description, does anyone recognize what car the control unit might have come from and any way to get a wiring diagram?
Don't remember a GM car that had them, that doesn't mean crap I don't remember a lot of things at my age. But I know the old thunderbirds had them. Someone else will remember what GM model had them if one did.

Web Electric is the place to get sequential taillight kits. You can purchase just the control module if that's all you need. I have owned a couple of their kits and they work great.
Correct, and you'll want to convert the inner-most bulbs to dual filimant (1157) to take advantage of the 3rd pulse. Sequential flashers with just two bulbs is kinda lame. I ordered a couple lamp housings from the Fiero Store when I did mine.

I have these on my Indy - people love the look!!
I see on their website that they won't ship to Canada anymore...
So far the setup that is currently installed has been working. I was hoping to get the info about it just in case it begins to malfunction. Also was curious if this unit would function properly if LED lights were installed.
The smart thing might be to purchase new system and then I know what is installed.
Thanks for the input. Any additional info always welcomed.
Each to their own tastes but I prefer the big bulbs that light up the entire taillight reflector instead of the pinpoint LED lights. The conventional kits a lot cheaper too.
