We know about the 84 Indy that was made in limited numbers (2000) and the Meras...What are the other rare fieros based on option packages, colors, limited build runs or whatever that might make some Fieros rare in 2014?
Silver 88s - they stopped running the silver to introduce yellow. I know there are only 257 Silver 88GTs and only 4 of those have TTops. Silver Formulas are also pretty rare, especially those with TTops. 138 of those silver 88s were 5 speeds.
(Editted for reversing my 5 speed and total numbers)

If I wanted a "rare" Fiero, I would be searching for an original, unmolested, low mileage, clean-framed car or one that has been upgraded with options that you want. Once you find a good foundation, you can make the car anything you want. It doesn't look like Fieros will ever have enough public respect to garner "rare car" values so there's not a lot of incentive to keep them stock.
If you were given the option of a silver T-top Formula and a red t-top Formula in comparable shape, how much more would you be willing to pay for a "rare" color? Any at all or would you just take the cheaper red one?
Another rare Fiero is the 87 SE (SE = aero package) 4 cylinder. Really any blue 87 SE is fairly uncommon, but I've never even seen a blue 4 cylinder SE. I've seen maybe two blue 87 SE V6 cars. Both on the forum.
I have a silver 88 GT, automatic, so according to the statement above, there would only be 81 silver 88's with auto. Only problem, some previous owner painted it the deep metallic red and off roaded it a few times. So, I've decided to do it one more disservice and modify the heck out of it. But, at least it will live on. On occasion, I think it might get repainted the original color. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/091046.html

I've seen pics of two examples, I think Archie even swapped one.
Any of the fourteen '88 cars with factory Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) or any 1988 car with the RPO code N41 indicating that it had it and was removed by the dealership before delivery.
