Sunny, not too windy - packed down the snowdrifts & got a 132,000 kilometer '84 dash - no cracks or damage - $70 including tax.

Also got the driver's seat for $34 & a temp/fuel gauge for $12.

I don't know how that compares to US yards, but I think it's a good find here in the Niagara region of Ontario.

Too bad about the color.

$34 for the driver's seat is good if it isn't worn through or torn.

Yeah, the dash colour matches my '84 except it's not faded...
With that & the spiffy seats it's going to look pretty good for it's 30th birthday on 08May2014.

Here's the $34 passenger seat I got recently after $30 clean-up:

Last time I bought a non-cracked brown/tan dash, I cracked it painting it. I now just stick with my heavily damaged grey/grey dash

I like those seats with the stripes as well.

I picked up an '88 Formula last summer which needed seats, so I put in the perfect striped set from my '84. Looks great, and when I wire in the seat speakers, all eight of them in the cabin will sound wonderful.

I was hoping to keep the '84 stock look but didn't think I'd find seats in good condition, so I've been looking for other styles too.

Good score from any junkyard. Any color dash without cracks is well worth the money you paid.

if you need any thing else for your 84 I can check next time I do a wreckers run as one near by has six Fieros and all are 84's but one. They have been there for a long time so most metal parts are toast.
I got a near mint dash gray in colour from a wreckers in Guelph for $30 so the deals are there if you can find them. Dan

Thanks Dan, working A/C would be nice... I think I'll get a new compressor etc. to tackle that issue.
I'd like to get a 'new' looking Roman Bronze 5 speed shifter surround plate for my '86.
I guess that won't be in an '84 unless there's been a swap...
