So you guys are the pros craigslist has only given me finished fieros, I'm looking for a fiero that's in need of major work.I know no one wants to part with one but if someone has a connection or a project they no longer have time for feel free to let me know. I'll continue searching junkyards and Craiglist but I figured go to the source here. Thanks guys

I don't have a good handle on that because I probably haven't bought anything from Gibson's in years, and if I did, that purchase obviously wasn't memorable enough to recall.
Therefore, I suggest sending a P.M. with your inquiry to jetsnvettes2000 and to 86soon3.4, who, like me, are also members of Fox Valley Fieros, but unlike me, likely have made some more memorable purchases from Gibson's than I have.
Thanks for all the helpful info and I'm pretty excited to hear that there is a Fox valley club most people give me dirty or goofy looks when I talk about them love to meet some of the guys or if any you guys need a hand with anything more then willing to help

Try "Gibson Iron Metal & Auto Inc." a sizable junkyard in Neenah.
It's maybe 15 to 20 miles away from wherever you are in Kaukauna.
Just be aware that any Fieros they may have could well be in need of "major work" which is more than even you want to take on.
I don't think they will sell you a car that is in the yard. I have been there many times and would not even consider purchasing a car from them. They are pretty picked over.

P.S. I just sold an 88 base coupe which was my daily driver last week....cheap

You're welcome.
Maybe in 2014 we'll make another trip around Lake Winnebago, like that we undertook in 2010 --- but not on such a cold day, because (in pics 3, 4, and 5, below) that coldness dissuaded any of the remainder of us who hadn't jumped --- from attempting to provide meaningful help to those who had jumped.
Anyway, check out these pics from page 10 of the same Pennock's Fiero Forum thread which 86soon3.4 referenced elsewhere:

Even though we always use only precision tools (like the above ball peen hammer, used for testing the sturdiness of aftermarket engine valve covers), your willingness to help out likely should make you much appreciated within our club.
Ya I honestly love working on fieros I'd like to help others with theirs there is never a time I haven't learned something when working on them.... if need help feel free to ask for a hand I got nothing to work on until I find the "one" to go all out on.
Reference to the ones on craigslist those ones are ones I've been watching but literally I wanna go from bottom up I really wanna go from piecing all the best parts from all the years ie 88 suspension and either 2jz or basic 3800 supercharged gt body panels with fastback styling. Done a few swaps but want this to eventually be the one that gets my son off mustangs, he's six and helped me build all summer , he " painted" it with primer. so he's a fiero junky in the making.

Looks sweet I've heard so much about the 3800 swap seems like the way to go so well researched and done? Does it give off scary speed and what trans you go with the 5 spd mu?

If you want to turn wrenches on a special Fiero project for a good cause, as a club we are in the process of doing a full custom build for Johnyrottin right now. The club is free to join by the way so jump on anytime we never have fee's and well seems like we never have any structured things really but we all do come together from time to time to do things and work on projects or attend shows. check out he build here: //www.fiero.nl/forum/F.../HTML/092359-10.html
I don't know how far you guys are willing to travel, but there are a handful of Fieros out here in AZ, mainly Tucson and Phoenix, possibly other areas too. These are western cars with little/no undercarriage rust, and almost all are under $2000... there's even a 40k-mile 'pace car' (not sure if that was an actual Fiero thing?) that's listed for $500 needing "a lot of work" because it doesn't run.
When ever you do a Craig's list search put a price limit in the search, it will limit the cost of the adds and you will get more vehicles that need work, say $500.
