I don't know how accurate your 99.9 statistic is but again, it proves my point. A gun obtained thru the program would be less likely to be used in a crime.

I have to wonder if it wouldn't be easier and a much smaller list if we just made one of the people who don't own guns. That way the criminals would know what houses to rob, without fear of being shot. I wonder how they would feel about that list, the gun grabbers?

Interesting concept. Law. Why is it that a felon loses gun rights ? Why not freedom of speech rights ? Why not voting rights ? Why not the freedom to assemble, the freedom to protest ?
