Slater was sentenced on April 2 and received 20 years and I think they said with a minimum of 10 to serve. At his sentencing, he told the judge that he did it for his family. His intent was to steal some jewelry that he could sell to support his family. I'm sure his family is proud of him and is walking around with Tshirts proclaiming he's their husband and dad.
