You know, I couldn't even tell you as my last motorcycle jacket fit me so poorly I couldn't gauge what size I needed. When I go shoe shopping I have to take off my shoes to see what size I need to start looking in. Pretty sad, really..

What size jacket? Steve has 2 and does not ride anymore. Also if you have a girlfriend /wife that rides with you i have one too. Melanie
PM, replied to. Plus for your generosity. You've added to my Christmas season and I appreciate you. I'm sure there are people more deserving and in greater need. My bike is down for the winter anyways.
Also, no girlfriend/wife, are they giving those out for Christmas now?

I'll take it as a late Christmas, but I want my MIL to get approved for refinancing their house so we can rent it.
Right now we're living with my dad and basically paying half the mortgage and other bills, but we're still living with my dad . The MIL is moving out of that house regardless of what happens, but if she can get it refi'd, the payments should drop drop to within our budget and she said she'd rent it out to us on a rent-to-purchase contract.
It needs a LOT of work to be livable, but I think it's 10000% worth it.
Sent you a pm. Watch your mail. Happy Holidays. Melanie

I'm getting nothing for Christmas, Mommy and Daddy are mad. I'm getting nothing for Christmas, Cause I ain't been nothing but bad HAHA
couldn't help it.
And here I thought bad girls got all the good presents. So much for that theory.
I do however share the "i get nothing for christmas" thing as I dont. BUT in the defence of others I never accept anything either. I just pay it forward to somebody else who may need it.

You know, Melanie, you better deliver on every single one of these requests. Some people get mighty pissy when they don't get what they feel entitled to.

I have twin daughters that ask me that every year for the past six years, and I always reply, "peace on earth" and they'd say something like,"no, really, what do you want." So I'd say, "okay a pair of socks" to which they'd roll their eyes and huff off.
I really do not get into the gift exchange at all. I do buy for others, but really do not expect anything at all. If we can not give peace as a gift, then a pair of socks will do just fine.

But since you are asking. I want my wife to not be mad at me for getting her involved with yet another entitled individual who wants all the new toys but refuse to put in any work. At least when she gets it from a couple hundred parents a month bitching about not receiving all the goodies that tax dollars can buy, at least they aren't expecting for her to pay for it out of her salary. So she is pretty pissed off right now, especially considering that someone is making libellous statements about her ethics. It isn't going to matter what good could have come out of my Christmas, but it is basically spoiled right now.

. . .
Merry CHristmas to all my wonderful fiero friends.
Late response, I guess, but I missed this, and only found it looking for something else.
Thanks for the aside, Nick. Yeah, I'd survive. I have a dozen ideas for profiting by making metalworkers obsolete.
I'd like for my vision of Utopia to come true, too. But Utopia's not an option, and that which you envision? Well, that vision is only going to occur under two conditions: (1)No one exists who is willing to tell even the smallest bit of a falsehood; and (2) there is no one who is willing to take another's money to tell that little bit of a falsehood for him. So long as (1) or (2) exist, so will my profession. On the civil law side, I do really wish you'd all just be honest with each other, but I know better.
But it's worse than that, from my perspective. There are criminal acts, as well. Occasionally, someone has to stand between the State, and the gentleman accused. The State can, will, and does abuse its appointed power. Someone has to be willing to stand against that.
I don't always like this job. (Even though I'm self-employed). I do it, because it needs doing.
So, what do I really want for Christmas? Make me unnecessary. Grow up. Make laws unnecessary, make my profession unnecessary. Make me redundant to the obvious.
Somehow, sadly, I don't think it's going to happen.
