The sand storms in Beijing are a yearly occurrence and have been forever.
Over grazing by goat farmers have stopped and they are reclaiming the deserts that the damage of overgrazing caused.
Same holds true in the coal mining region in Inner Mongolia that also had overgrazing.
They have been doing the reclamation for years.
Saw a two hour special on that when I was in China. Maybe CBS should watch it.

CBS has proven to be biased IMO.
