It will be replayed today and tonight
Anyone who saw it, please do not comment, let the rest evaluate if they are truly a racict.

Maybe I should have been more clear.
It was more like, there is something I think everyone should see.
If you have seen it please don't tell the ones who haven't.
Just thought it would be better to watch without being biased by others opinion of it.

I think you're comment is totally racist, honestly. You just assume that no one in here is black? You may or may not be right, but you're still doing exactly the thing that you're criticizing everyone else in here for.

Who am I criticizing? Everyone, you say? I don't think I was criticizing anyone, but I certainly do not deny that I can be bigoted. I think that you might be suffering from reading comprehension issues along with John. I will tell you a comprehension issue that I am having, and that is how the makeup of a local Fiero club is analogous to the demographics of an international Internet forum? Are you offended that I might be suggesting that Totally OT is not the Rainbow Coalition? If you think that this is your way to save the planet, I certainly wouldn't try to stand in your way. Tell you what. Name 10 guys on PFF that could be identified as "Black". I'll wait.

This was part of watching it, to understand a person of color's point of view.
At least he did watch it.

I've been called a cracker... am I a victim of racism?

But seriously, it will always be out there. Nothing you can do about it. You can trace it through time.
*was going to list a time frame/racial slur list but decided against it*
That being said it doesn't help when the stereotypes ring true. I'll be the first to admit I can be racist as I've said it before there are major differences between a black man who goes to college and/or works a full time job vs a black guy on the corner selling drugs. Same about a white man who goes to college and/or works a full time vs a white guy selling drugs on the corner.

I have and I'm one of them. I was in a relationship to whom at one time was raised as Baptist, but later converted to Muslim. At the time my friends (mostly whites) and I were very, very close. Then out of no where... "all blue eye devils" were somehow the reasons for all of the black man sufferings. Mind you- this was back in the early eighties when crack cocaine was prevalent in and among the black communities (you can see where I'm going with this argument) and at the time there was a Malcolm X rebirth.

I objected to this so-called notion that the white man is the cause of the black man's demise by usage of drugs and flocks of addicts in the black community. I asked her and others, "White people weren't the ones selling it on the street corners nor are the ones pimping our black women, are they?" I continued to ask more serious questions regarding education and the raising of children. Is the white man preventing blacks from seeking a college education or they're lack of responsibilities of taking care of their children they've fathered? Aside from those rhetorical questionings my main question regarding Farrakhan was; why on earth are ministers being paid to not work; for I seriously have issues with any religion that props-up their leaders and lives off the back of their flock. Aside from that- the biggest question was the light skin/dark skin question regarding blacks whom are seated. Why aren't they're dark skinned blacks?

Of course that relationship ended on a very, very bad note, but does pop-up if I'm in association with blacks. As for you rogergarrison- I seriously doubt you (given your age) get out among blacks for if you did- you'd hear an ear full of it by now and not until somebody "checks" you on a Fiero forum. Remember, black people are more main stream Christianity in America. To be far- I'm also leery of those who claim to be Disciples of Christ.

Glenn Beck's 'demagoguery' threatening Republican party, says veteran GOP lawmaker

http://www.csmonitor.com/Fr...veteran-GOP-lawmaker

Too many Republican leaders are acquiescing to a poisonous "demagoguery" that threatens the party's long-term credibility, says a veteran GOP House member who was defeated in South Carolina's primary last month.
culprits.

He cited a claim made famous by Palin that the Democratic health care bill would create "death panels" to decide whether elderly or sick people should get care.

IN PICTURES: Tea Parties

"There were no death panels in the bill ... and to encourage that kind of fear is just the lowest form of political leadership. It's not leadership. It's demagoguery," said Inglis, one of three Republican incumbents who have lost their seats in Congress to primary and state party convention challengers this year.

Inglis said voters eventually will discover that you're "preying on their fears" and turn away.

"I think we have a lot of leaders that are following those (television and talk radio) personalities and not leading," he said. "What it takes to lead is to say, 'You know, that's just not right.'"

Inglis said the rhetoric also distracts from the real problems that politicians should be trying to resolve, such as budget deficits and energy security.

"It's a real concern, because I think what we're doing is dividing the country into partisan camps that really look a lot like Shia and Sunni," he said, referring to the two predominant Islamic denominations that have feuded for centuries. "It's very difficult to come together to find solutions."

Inglis' refusal to join in on the Obama-bashing of the far right played a big role in his landslide defeat on June 22. Leading up to the election, he frequently challenged voters who questioned the president's citizenship or patriotism. At one town hall meeting, he was jeered for saying that Beck, a Fox News Channel host, is a divisive fearmonger.

In his primary runoff against prosecutor Trey Gowdy, Inglis failed to break 30 percent, an improbably low result for a sitting incumbent not embroiled in scandal.

Inglis said he was shocked during the health care votes as he watched protesters jeering Rep. John Lewis, a Georgia Democrat who was beaten as a leading civil rights activist in the 1960s.

Inglis said he was too far away during the jeering incident to hear whether the protesters shouted racial epithets, as Lewis and other black lawmakers have claimed. But Inglis said the behavior was threatening and abusive.

"I caught him at the door and said, 'John, I guess you've been here before,'" Inglis said.

Inglis, 50, who calls himself a Jack Kemp disciple because he has emphasized outreach to minorities as the late Republican congressman did, thinks racism is a part of the vitriol directed at President Barack Obama.

"I love the South. I'm a Southerner. But I can feel it," he said.

Inglis was first elected in 1992 and left after six years to honor a term-limits pledge. But he won the seat again in 2004. He doesn't yet know what he'll do when he leaves Congress in January. He said it's unlikely he'll run for office again, but he didn't rule it out.

"It's hard to see how it works for me," he said. "But things change, and maybe something changes here."

Read incumbant hack. Probably another pork barrel spender from the Bush years.
Newt had the right idea in 94 and held them as close as possible to the contract with America.
Sad in a way that it was all pissed away by "R's" trying to out Dem, Dems. (Buying votes with tax dollars)

Sounds like sour grapes to me. A "veteran" house member? Maybe he'd been there too fricken long.

It's not a "claim" any more. Obama's new Medicare Czar on rationing:

Obama names a health czar who favors rationing

Donald Berwick is no household name, but President Obama just handed him immense power to shape what kind of health care will be available to every American man, woman and child.

Berwick is the president’s newly appointed administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the federal agency that is ground zero for Obamacare’s politicization of American medicine. Obama installed Berwick with a recess appointment, a rarely exercised authority given to the president by the Constitution to use when the Senate is out of session for long periods. Berwick will have the job until the end of 2011. He assumes his duties without a Senate confirmation hearing or a Senate vote on his nomination.

Here’s another name few Americans are likely to recognize: Linda O’Boyle. According to the London Sunday Times, O’Boyle died in 2008 after British National Health Service officials cut off her “free” treatment by government doctors. Her sin was that she used her life savings to pay for an unapproved cancer drug earlier in the year. Her doctors had told her the drug, cetuximab, was markedly more effective in combating bowel cancer than the NHS-approved chemotherapy. Unfortunately, cetuximab was rejected by NHS officials as “not cost-effective.” O’Boyle, an NHS occupational therapist, was dead within a few months, a victim of rationed health care. She was also one of the tragic human beings behind a statistic Obama and Berwick likely hope you never hear about: Britain’s cancer survival rate ranges between 40.2 percent and 48.1 percent for men and between 48 percent with 54.1 percent for women, compared with 66 percent for U.S. men and 63 percent for U.S. women.

Now consider this quote from Berwick: “Cynics beware, I am romantic about the National Health Service, I love it.” Here’s another Berwick quote: “The decision is not whether or not we will ration care, the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.” It is bad enough that Obama would nominate an individual who holds such views to head Medicare and Medicaid. To install him under a recess appointment with no Senate hearing and no Senate confirmation vote is an arbitrary act of an imperial presidency so outrageous as to embarrass even Richard Nixon. Since Berwick can only occupy the position for approximately 17 months, the question inevitably arises: What does Obama want Berwick to do that is so important that it justifies circumventing the Senate’s constitutional duty to advise and consent on presidential appointments?

===========================================

"Death panels" refers to the rationing of care based on age. It's part of the "Complete Lives System". In short, if you're too old or too young, the government will decide not to give you care, thus the term "death panels". Obama's appointment confirms this. It's now a FACT, not a "claim".

YES! True wisdom if I have ever read it, I could not agree more. You do not need to be any color to be stupid, and if you are not stupid, I guarantee you that you are a "minority."

Edit: Because the "majority" is stupid.

I'm not writing Beck off as a loon. He's done great with his documentaries. His daily show tends to monologue a bit.

Do you disagree with his shows on Black American history?

One of the things I like about him is his "panel shows"

BTW have you seen the reports of the media blackout of oil in the gulf? Hello Chicago politics..
(it's not just Fox, CNN is complaining as well among others)

If this happened under Bush, can you IMAGINE the coverage? They'd have cameras taped to oil-soak pelicans.

That little rant is WISDOM?
The majority of the world is of average intelligence, but how do you dismiss them as stupid.
BTW, do you have an "official" document showing you are not part of that "majority" you speak of?

Actually i have two official documents.. A degree in mathematics, and software engineering.. I was working on a 3rd in business management.. I wasent really interested in business management, but since i only needed 4 or 5 classes to get it, i figured why not. Unfortunately i had to put the 3rd on hold because of two brain tumors, and currently cant afford to go back (medical bills cleaned out all my savings, and being out of work for over a year in order to recover made it hard to save up.)

So if your saying im one of the stupid ones, then i fear for the future of our race.

Plus i didnt sink myself to the level of insulting any persons here on the forum, like you just did.. So all i have to say to you is Piss Off!

My comment was not directed at you, and I am not smart enough to call anyone I do not know stupid.

Is this real? Turns out I am allowed to comment because I haven't seen it. If I watch it I won't be able to tell you, so I guess my silence in this thread will mean I have watched it. That or I just didn't come back to this thread. Really it is hard to say.

Beck is just as critical of Republicans who ignore the Constitution as Democrats. He is a patriot. Not a party hack. It just so happens that most of the crimianally ignorant ass hats in congress are Dems so naturally he picks on them more than the GOP.
