Tuned in to him last night. His audience was made up of only black Americans. They were discussing racism and discrimination from a black perspective. It opened my eyes. I challenge every PFF member to sit through it, even as painful as it may be to admit you may a be racist. It will be replayed today and tonight Anyone who saw it, please do not comment, let the rest evaluate if they are truly a racict.

My definition of racist is a person that looks at the color of a person or groups of people and determines there value, intelligence, skill, education and so forth. That being said I believe that a God made us all and that God could not care less about the color of our skin, so to care about the color of skin is a sin. I believe that the U.S.A. is a VERY racist Nation. We have laws that will keep it that way "affirmative action". And a "new" definition to cover racism against white people "reverse discrimination" that assumes that all white people are racist and to be a victim of racism is reverse discrimination. We have racist people like Jesse Jackson and All Sharpton that make a living by keeping racism alive.
Bottom line is "IF" America wanted to cure racism we would completely erase the question of "color" from ALL applications and resomays and totally erase ALL groups and organizations that are color specific or exclusive.
Racism will live for ever in America because people either want revenge for what they perceive as being discriminated against or just want a free ride on the tide of political correctness freight train and then there of course are the ones that are truly racist that just hate.

can you find the video on youtube? but as of now, i think people care too much about racism. if you dont think of things as racist, most of the time, they are not. we are all just people. it doesnt matter what color, or background you have. everyone is an individual. now, on to hate crimes. i believe that classifying crimes as "hate" crimes just further shows how the govt doesnt think everyone is equal. also- i am white. i am not southern european american. therefore, it is blacks, not "african americans". half of blacks arent even from africa!! if you think i am racist for all that i said, so be it. but in my opinion, if you think im racist for that, your the racist.
EDIT: also- fierobear, i hate to tell you, but whitedevil88 is right.

During a commercial break last night while Kill Bill #2 was on- I channel surfed and saw 2-minutes (max times) and then surfed back to Kill Bill. Actually, there are two threads on RFT that are racial stereotypes.

*sigh*, does EVERYTHING have to be explained in excruciating detail?
Partfiero said: "Anyone who saw it, please do not comment, let the rest evaluate if they are truly a racict."
Stimpy replied: "So, you only want people who didn't watch something to comment on it?"
Since Partfiero never said anything about people who didn't watch it commenting, Stimpy's response was off. Those who hadn't seen it could see it in a repeat.

Right, anyone who saw it, don't comment. Which means the way he worded it, if he wants any comments it would HAVE to be from someone who didn't see it, else there would be NO comments at all...

Have your wife explain that to you. Seems a little beyond you.

Partfiero worded it oddly, but Stimpy's comment was even stranger. SOP.

Is a post required to be commented upon? I didn't see any request for comments, only a request not to comment.

So, how will we tell when everyone has watched it?
I didn't say it was a carefully laid out plan. Just what I thought he might have been thinking. I know one thing for sure. You and bear would argue about the color of Popsicles.

This thread kinda shows why NOTHING can ever be resolved, (here or in the "real world). Hard enough there are legitimate issues and opinions, but we also have LANGUAGE-confusion,plenty of SARCASM, and a seemingly secret (or not-so-secret) desire to continue keeping things unresolved...and hold onto old grudges.
I'll watch the show.

Can this thread stop being about the way something is worded.
Yes!
I watched it. It was very interesting, with a lot of candid remarks and opinions. When partfiero opens things for comment, we could have a good discussion about it.

I thought was was clear. If you saw it, don't comment. Anyone who saw it would understand the comment. It was not intended for someone who didn't watch it. Just watch it with no bias and learn something about racism in America from a black persons eyes. It will be painful to watch for the racist. Can't find the cure until we find the cause.

I have not seen it, so can you tell me what it can teach us about racism? And just curious, why would it matter what color the skin? Racism from black, white, red, yellow or brown is the same. Seems to me that how individuals react to what they see as racism should flush out the racist within them for others to see if they have any in them? I see racism as an emotional issue for most people. I see people reacting or over reacting to it to cover up or deny or compensate for other peoples racism, or just fear the political correct BS and try to not offend anyone.

Apparently, you don't have enough black friends. You need to get out some more and quit hanging out with high school girls. I have gotten into big heated arguments with blacks whom idolizes Farrakhan.

Can someone fix this so the vid shows up? All I can say is things may not always be as you perceive them. This ain't got NO PC in it, they are telling it like it is. http://video.foxnews.com/?c...cb7e6a04f50204809c04

Exactly. Too bad certain people have to do the smartass thing. This is an important subject that should be treated respectfully.

I haven't watched it and most likely won't. My life doesn't revolve around racism. I treat others the way I would like to be treated unless they show a blatant disregard for being civil.
I could list many things about myself and say "see I'm not racist!". I have friends of every color! I listen mostly to rap music! My sister married a black man! But the reality is I am racist just not based on skin color.
I hate lazy people and/or people who are jealous of other peoples wealth. I hate people who indulge in criminal activities. I don't care what color they are.

I'm actually watching it now (from the link I posted above).
I'm so proud of that guy... I don't even know who he is, but his sense of perserverance really makes me happy. He's raised in a poor family, but his mom worked hard, his mom did everything she could to take care of her children, and those values and morals rubbed off on him.
You don't hear him complain, he's beaming because of what he's accomplished. This is what the American dream is all about... I really wish liberals would watch this. It's not about the victim mentality... it's about hard work.
Exactly. Too bad certain people have to do the smartass thing. This is an important subject that should be treated respectfully.
Please explain how my reply was "smartass". According to the OP, my analysis of his post was right on the money. If you watched the show (and have any idea about what he is posting about) then you are discouraged from replying. I can only interpret from that that he is seeking opinions about the program from those who have not watched said program. As someone who has not watched the program (neither said episode or any other episode of the program), I understood that, among others, it was my opinion that he was soliciting. I don't understand why you would want my opinion if I have never seen the program, and I pointed out my difficulty with the OP's logic. I felt that my reply was purely based on logic.
Now, if the OP wants my opinion on Glenn Beck without ever having watched the show, I think he is a clown. If he wants my opinion on racism, it clearly is a topic that is not going to be resolved in an Internet forum full of white guys. Hate exists, and no culture can claim to be exempt from being responsible for their own history. I admit that I am a racist, and have experienced racism from other cultures. If I have time, I may watch the program. It sounds like an interesting premise. Of course, once I watch it, my opinion is unsolicited. So I won't bother you with my impressions at that point.

What makes you think this forum is full of white guys?
When I last went to a Palm Beach Fiero Club meeting, there were people of all types...
There were Fiero owners who were gay, there was a black couple, there was several hispanic couples, and there were white couples (no asians).
I think you're comment is totally racist, honestly. You just assume that no one in here is black? You may or may not be right, but you're still doing exactly the thing that you're criticizing everyone else in here for.
