Funny, Metallica fans said the same thing about Load in the late '90s. Their Napster battle ruined their music for me far more than anything they ever actually produced. But... if anything could restore that, Suicide and Redemption is one of the best tracks they've ever made.

That's because it sucked azz, Death Magnetic is almost as bad. The day that never comes, was in such heavy rotation here, you were sure to hear it at least once an hour, never mind that the song could have been half as long and still suck!!!
Give me the old days, Master of pupets, Enter sandman ect, that was Metallica.
The darkest hour, never comes at night. Joe

It's impossible for me to pick one band, my music runs from the mid '60s, groups like Love and Iron Butterfly through the '70s, '80s, '90s (yuck) to today, and there are stand outs in every era, recent additions are Black light burns and Ozzy's Black rain. There does seem to be one unifying thing, Ozzy seems to have been there almost from the start.

Strangely enough, I actually like load and reload. And the garage inc album of covers was awesome. And...rush is awesome. I think Steve Perry ruined Journey. But...that's not to say they weren't good. I just prefer Gregg Rolly

Can I get a hail yes, their first two albums are inceredible, once Steve Perry joined the group became a comercial and mainstream monster. I recently bought a three cd box set (used) just for the first six songs on disc one, I won't even play the rest of disc one, let alone the other two.
