No jail, no fine, certainly no deportation, just "run along, amigo"...

which brings us back to "lack of enforcement", and only enforcing laws which "pay" - like seatbelts & speeding.....
and, I could guess that only those who actually did any paperwork to actually become citizens are the only ones who get deported...

I'm kind of looking at avengador right now... basically what you do is this... drop off the grid. Become an "illegal immigrant" for a year. According to the math above you should do alright. You'll have a free home and healthcare and all that anyways...

But I doubt you'd find a job that pays $5 an hour. Why would any company take a chance at paying more than minimum wage when they can hire *legal* workers for that price? There has to be some savings incentive otherwise it's not worth the risk.

farms do it all the time. they pay their "pickers" cash by the day. in my youth i made between $40 and $75 a day picking berries (mind you thats like 30 years ago) last year i took my daughters berry picking.(lol to teach them the value of work)... i made just under a hundered a day and they made like $40... lol ... thats a lot of rasberrys. hard work VERY HARD. but its work. i really don't know what they (illeagles) do for work in the "off season", but during the spring and summer a "HARD" worker could make $100/day/7 days week tax free. just doing farm work. planting begins after the last frost (mid march) till christmas tree harvest in mid december....

I think we can all agree with that. Sadly

Or, he's caught and deported, the crosses right back into the U.S. again and keeps doing the same thing.

Playing devil's advocate is one thing. It helps to see all sides of a discussion, but don't play devil's fool. You're smarter than that. I hope.

You do NOT know that I have no source to disprove it--nor do you know that I can't provide one--you just assume I don't and can't. And, if I were interested in doing so, I would at the very least, get up off my lazy ass and attempt to do so. Truth--one way or the other, is not all that difficult to come by.
