I saw part of the "Prison break" episode (again)... too funny. Goldberg comment regarding "balls" had me laughing. I wondered if Goldberg wanted to throw the key at him cause Team Evo made the show. As for the pig-pen run-- Goldberg has lost my respect. I'd say team Lexus chicks need to get it on with Team Avalanche. It’s only way to redeem the show, hehe.

poor lexus girls..seems the only way to get rid of the avalanche next episode is for VW to come in first and the avalanche gets thrown in the challenge with vette and gt500 on a roadcourse...or even better, catastrophic failure

I think i dozed off to near the end. I thought Corvette won getting to the destination, but then Avalanche was not in the challenge....I was confused !

The last two episodes where good viewing and a definite improvement over the last "pig-pen" run. Team Lexus navigation skills was some how absent and they were thrown into the course during which; it seemed that she was worried about hitting the obstacles. I thought she could've done better.... oh well.
Team VW's operation; "butterfly" was pretty clever, but it didn't work. However, the plan might've worked if they'd hit two more obstacles? Since it was 2-seconds that separated them from Team Shelby cause hitting each one counted for 1-second off the clock. Other-than-that, it pretty much was a lost for Team VW since they we're driving a bus and was slow off the line.

Did you see Goldberg? For a moment I thought Goldberg was about to cry. He must've batted his eyes fours times after he thrown Team VW their keys, hehe.
Another side note: I thought it was funny to see Team Shelby grab one of the Bull Run girls and tossed her inside the car. I think being on the Bull Run has heightened someone’s' libido, hehe. There’s a hot Bull Run Asian chic that needs love too.

I told the wife "if Avalanche wins this leg, the fix is in". Corvette won to the first checkpoint by a lot, and then by a fairly substantial margin at the end. I know they deduct points for speeding and other things which they don't show, but really, something is up with that.
I've looked several places for "the rules" and I can't find them. I'd be interested in entering with the Finale if I knew the rules, but I'm not going into the thing blind.

Traction control cost Team Corvette 200k. Why did he use traction control is beyond me??? The decision haunted Elvis the entire night drive. Once again Bull Run throws in navigation skills finding some London Bridge road or something. Gawd, I could see myself strangling my navigator for there was a lot of tension trying to find the bridge and especially Team Avalanche. They were so close to the gate entrance, but couldn't find it, but at least the truck nailed the truck ramp heat.... too bad they lost.
I like the show, but does anyone else find it ironic that the team that won (team shelby) was the same type f car is the host of the show? They were always saying things like "bullrun, brought to you by shelby..." sicne they were a sponsor.
I told my Wife after the first episode that Shelby would win because it was a big sponsor. No suprise to me they won !
Question(s); who was the major sponsor from last season and was there any connection with the winner and sponsor? I agree that it does sound suspicious, but I don't think Shelby would tag along with those types of shenanigans. After all Carroll has a name to uphold, right?

Did anybody notice that the "hugs" by the flag girls lasted a bit longer? I wonder if the govenment took 20% from the 200k? My guess is--- yes. I know the govenement will come back later (2009 income) and bit team Shelby's wallet again. It's not like they can hide the money.

I need to get my buddy and to enter one of our fieros into bullrun3. I have a few ideas... like putting a big propane flame out of the back of the fiero as it sits behind us, then we like calmly walk over quoting "man, the fiero caught on fire AGAIN".
I literally held my hands over my eyes until i started to type this. Because I don't want to see any spoilers.
I am on Season 2 Episode 2. This show is awesome and I hope it continues. The thing that kills me though is they have some really really nice cars, yet they are..........I don't know not recently checked? why do they have problems after driving for at most a week? In the first season it was the lambo. $200,000 car and it has issues, now I see the pantera having problems. (yes I understand its older), but I would think you prepare the car ahead of time, double/triple check everything.
and the one thing I want to see.......but well they would never show it to us, is..........some balls. Some hauling ass, some aggressive/try to win speed. I am not a professional driver, I don't have a fast car, but I damn well would have whatever I was driving up to 100mph+ when the opportunity was there, especially when you needed to make up time for a mistake.

IMO if I were to rate Bull Run 2009 it was 50% navigational skills, 30% stock car, and 20% precision driving. Team Lexus coasted throughout the show in a some what stock Lexus with no break downs, but once thrown into a heat... they lost. I'm still pissed that Team Solstice was eliminated during a pigpen run... unbelievable! Team Evo and Team Dart... well.
Ok I watched pretty much the whole show back to back in the past day.
I guess I am one of the only people who actually liked Team Avalanche. They drove that truck really well, no matter how many times they were thrown in to the challenges, they took chances trying out short cuts, they really wanted to win and tried hard to. They came up with that idea of that scratch board when trying to get driving directions, I loved the attempt at getting the trucks to start a rollling roadblock. I woulda loved to seen that work. I thought it was even more fun when Team Vette saw them and stayed on the side of the tractor trailer, so they weren't by unnoticed. That is the type of thing I would have done.
I do agree the Team Evo was just annoying. I kept thinking, spoiled kids who don't have a clue what they are doing.
Team Lexus seemed decent enough, but I had a feeling once they got thrown into a challenge it would be over for them and I was right. She had to drift the car a little and I dont think she had any idea, later on she said something like "all my racing has been in a straight line".
Team VW? Ummm why? why why do you bring a slow bus, with small gas tank....I mean have something going for you, speed, reliability, something .
Team Soltice I didn't much care for, He just didn't seem to listen to his navigator at all. After she drove, he said something like she drove as well as me, or something like that and I thought, She drove better, and maybe she should have been driving the whole time.
Team Ferrari, I would like to have seen them make it further, but oh well. Team Camaro ---not much I could say Team Dart- Why would you take any unneccessary chances/risk when NOT in the challenge, just dumb. Team Shelby- Nothing to say about them. Team Pantera. would have liked to seem them get a bit further. Team Vette - I liked them, the driver seemed to handle his car pretty well. But I did think she should have setup the elimination rounds a little better.
I liked having Avalance, Shelby, Vette all still in it til the end.
I wish they would have kept the "choose a different route, and the go or dont go for time bonuses". But this was still an awesome show and I hope it stays around. There is so much they dont show though, I hate wasting time with the "Coming up next". Grrrrr I am already watching the show, I will see what is next in the next 30mins. No need to ruin it by showing it to me ahead of time. I just put my hand over the screen and hit the mute button during those times. They time would have been better filled with behind the scene stuff.
I wonder how the penalties for speeding worked, I was under the impression that the penalty was only if you got caught by the cops. I noticed there was less of that in this season as well.
So often I thought, there should have been a little more preperation. Like I think Team Vette, had said something like "I have never driven his car before". I thought what? Your on a 21 day road rally and you never even drove the car? Geez the first night the racing was done, I would have had my navigator out driving around in my car just in case.
oh and now a question. 4,000 miles. 10 days of racing. So why does it take 21 days? Do they really spend 11 days sightseeing?

I think they park their cars when they reach the end of the leg, and are not allowed to start them again until the next morning. No getting gas even, if you rolled in on fumes the night before, you start it on fumes the next day. Unless you're in a challenge. That's why the dad on team Dart got all pissed when they gave Avalanche gas right before the challenge. Avee came in on fumes, but knew that the rules stated he would be given 1 gallon of fuel to attempt the challenge with...

1 day for the driving leg - All next day for the challenge. Then back to 1 full day of driving, 1 full day of challenge and so on...
