I'm wondering how S.O.L. both these guys are. (Evo, Dart) Anyone think the show's producer's will spot some cash for repairs? And is that Evo now a write off? Deployed airbags=totalled? I liked how the Evo's owner was too choked to show up for the final results/exit ceremony.

I doubt its a total loss, its just a bunch of front end work and some time on the frame machine. There are 2 bmw's in my shop in worse shape.
I cant believe the evo guys had the slowest time.. in dirt... vs a dodge dart?
I do think that move where the evo guy sat out the last deal was a real ***** thing to do... I mean comon dude you entered your car in a race competition that lasts forever.. **** happens... he was dumb to think that he couldnt break anything.

Hmmm, I see. Since his airbags deployed I had thought that would automatically classify the car as a write-off or total loss. I guess I am mistaken?
Totally agree He should have showed up for the last part, take it like a man; and maybe slap your buddy upside the head for hitting a giant concrete box. Ohh... and for losing a dirt race to a truck and a muscle car! Come on, pump those legs ;-)
I love how the evo driver said his first car was a dune buggy and he has driven on dirt, then backpedals when interviewed after the crash. .Also he engaged "gravel" mode so i guess he thought the car was gonna drive itself. What a chump. I'm glad they got eliminated in that way. They where b*tching that the challenges had nothing to do with driver skill and when it came time to put up or shut up they crash out LOL TEH AWD CAN NEVA LOOOOOOOOSSSSSEEEEEE !

Wow! Bull run is officially one of my best TV shows. I sure like the last episode were all three American cars were picked during the 1/4 race (make-it or go-home phase). Excellent strategic choice by team Avalanche in picking team Solstice for the heat and the Corvette dude (even with the George Clinton space boots ) knows how-to drive his car and team Solstice female driver kicked butt too.
Too bad team Camero didn't make it (good team spirit). Locking the brakes and running over the orange cones must've knocked their time down and I cringed when Goldberg toss them their keys.
I surprised team Dart’s car was up and running. Driving around in cold weather isn’t a good thing especially since the windows didn’t line-up with the frame. Team VW reminded me of one of my Fiero experience when my heater coil went bad on me while in Chicago in the dead of winter.
I saw the Team Lexus car yesterday. It's driven by two women. Apparently I didn't know it, but the route came through Arkansas. I was driving the Formula on I-430 heading West and saw a white Lexus with the # '02' with tons of Bullrun decals come flying by me at about 90 mph.
I guess they were heading back to where ever they had started or something...

In the last episode, IMO the reason for team Avalanche (one of the drivers) being tossed in jail was a lame excuse. Yes. He might've been a bit drunk, but from the video he wasn't disturbing the peace or doing something stupid. Oh well, the bail bonds man got paid.

Curly you have no idea how drunk he was, what he said or did in the bar or to the officers, or anything else that went on. That chip on your shoulder just keeps getting bigger.

Dude, it wasn't like it was team Evo clowning around. Besides, the camera crew was hanging all around. No need for officers to flex they're muscles in front of the camera and team Lexus. Besides, he had a buddy system. Let the other guy drive him home.

I've been called a redneck more than once. I've spent more than my fair share of time in bars with other rednecks. Trust me, you have no friggin' idea what happened in there. Because it wasn't "team evo" he couldn't have been picking fights, disrupting other bar patrons time there, generally making an ass of himself?
Here's a little newsflash for you, he pretty much had to have been pretty far out of bounds or 1) the owner of the establishment wouldn't have pressed charges or 2) the cops wouldn't have wanted to sit at the station and do the BS paperwork on a disorderly conduct charge. Something happened you, me, and everyone else that wasn't there doesn't know about. It's a shame that chip on your shoulder is so big it's blocking your view.

I remember thinking "Well, if the Bullrun cameras were there it would be an open and shut case". I mean, if nothing really happened, get the camera guys to show the cops the film, that he really didn't cause any trouble and they walk away. OTOH, if the camera footage painted a different picture...

I do enjoy it. Quite a bit, thank you for caring. I don't know where the "nightstick" comment comes from, but whatever floats your boat. I'm also quite relaxed, but again, thanks for your concern.
In fact, I'm not the one who's butthole has to pucker up when he sees red lights in the rearview mirror, so I'd say my relaxation quotient is quite a bit higher than yours.

Dude, try and relax. No need to profile my postings. Enjoy the show.
Here is how close the race was according the the Solstice team, posted on the Solstice forum:
" We had a blast doing that challenge. But WHEW! we were nervous when they called vette the winner. Then after the elimination, Andy Duncan pulled me aside and told us that the time difference between us and vette was .4 (four tenths) of a second. So corvettes time was 1:56.02 and our time was 1:56:06. Can you believe that. Thanks again everyone for the kind comments. We will try and keep the fighting between me and Theresa to a minimum."

Last night while driving home, I was thinking about team Ferrari. It would've been interesting to see how the owner would've reacted if the lady had to drive his car. I then took it another step by asking myself, " how would we react if our female team mate drove our Fieros during a challenge leg?"
Did I already say, "I like this show?"

Well, if my wife and I were doing it, she'd have to be driving because she can't read a frigging map.
I wouldn't be worried, she's autocrossed with the cars (including the race car) for 5 years.

The Evo guys were jackazzes. They drove straight into the concrete. Did more than pop the airbags. Left front frame rail was driven back a foot. That car needs a new front clip and subframe, snapped the axle out of the trans case. The Dart was just stupid...already done and rolls it down a dirt bank. He did a lot of damage, but not so much to running gear. I saw Mark Martin roll a Nascar car the same way in Calif and a lot faster. Rolled it back on its wheels and still won the race. Rollovers arent that disasterous especially with roll cage. Gotta watch out for the Lexus girls............there liable to sneak right into the winners circle. Id say their real weak link would be doing one of the challenges. I get the idea driving wise both of them are still sorta clueless. Dont bash on VW busses too bad. I had a stock 66 camper and I even tried drag racing it once...think it did like a 22 sec 1/4.

What I can't believe is they keep trying to eliminate Avalanche by putting them in DIRT challenges! Someone needs to put those two loudmouths in a DRAG-type challenge to wipe the grins off their faces... (in other words, I really hate those guys and want them GONE!) I was pissed when they were mouthing off and the Dart kid is just like "I'm sorry, I'm sorry". I was screaming at the screen "The next time that a$$hole talks sh?t about your Dad you sock him, you don't apologize!"

I've been really surprised this year with the number of dirt challanges there have been. I mean isn't the idea of Bullrun to be racing high performance cars all across America? Obviously you can't actually do that, but it seems to me alot of the challanges are better suited to trucks than to, well, cars. That seems, to me, to go against the original idea of Bullrun.
Any thoughts?

I just saw the last 20-minutes of the episode and it sucked big time! Team Soltise eliminated during a mud run (pig run) is lame...I mean really lame. Whose the guy (with the big frontal lobe) that thought of this... Goldberg? Ex policemen

I agree, that challenge was just stupid. I mean, maybe if they all had different tracks or something, but, that they all had to drive the same car (that's trashed by the time the first challenger's done with it), then had to drive on the same track (that's also trashed by the time the first challenger's done with it) and had to be chased by the same cops (who figured out how to take them out after, you guessed it, the first challenger) was just plain, well, hate to say it this way, makes me sound like a child... UNFAIR...

The mere fact they were driving in mud (that splattered all over the windshield) and unable to see was truly stupid! This made no sense using normal cars. Somebody needs to kick Goldberg's butt!
