I am thinking up by the cooling fan, can we get a picture of the connector and another of the MB that is at sort of an angle so we can see connectors, or better yet clear enough for me to read it.
#1 looks like the plug to me #2 is a strong second #3 is a contender for the mouse pad #4 is a strong guess at the keyboard #5 is not marked, but that's probably it.

All of the photos you posted are the same one, so we can't see the wires you are telling us about.
Laptops with diversity wireless antenna have two antenna, and one large connector for the display. Those should be the only three wires through the hinge assembly.
PS: It looks like a Toshiba laptop.

The plug on the right then? Are the two wires for the wifi, or the monitor? Cause if they are for the wifi antenna just look under for where the wireless device is and the plug (should be) right around there.

The two wires that you see are antennas for a wireless cars. the black will me main and grey is the aux for the card. If there is no wireless card leave them alone. They are put into most lcd asemblys from the factory. I repair laptops for a living so if you need anything else let me know.
Those two wires in the pic are the WIFI antenna. Find the wifi card, they will be on there. I dont think it really matters which is which.
Its not unheard of those to wrap around to the top of the MB either. Almost all wifi cards are modular though, so check anything that isnt part of the board itself first.
Anyone else wonder what those four large transistors with matching IC's are for? The ones on the right middle of the board. Just seems kinda odd on a laptop MB.
