Hillary doesn't stand a chance if she were the Democrat nominee. Republicans would come out of every nook and cranny to vote against another Clinton. Gun owners remember the wonderful gun bans of Clinton the First. Although many Texas Republicans crossed party lines to vote for Hillary because they feel she will be easier to defeat in November.

And Obama, well, what needs to be said about Obama. He talks really well, but if you really look at his platform he's a joke. His policies don't make any sense even for a democrat. And with Hillary making all the low-blows now so the Republicans don't have to later is just making it easier for a defeat if he is the nominee. But Obama is a rockstar right now. He's the next big thing in a society that gets bored after 15 minutes. He may win the nominee but lets see if Obamamania can last until November. I have a feeling his celebrity status will be played out and people will be more worried about voting for the next American Idol winner than for the president.

John Kerry asked John McCain to run as his vice-president but McCain turned him down, so it has been speculated that McCain will ask Kerry to be his vice-president. So you may get your wish.

Hmm, I didnt know you were rich.

You don't have to be rich to vote republican. You do have to understand basic economics.

Economics

You can't get something for nothing. Alternate version: Everything has a price.

No government can change that, no matter how many Clintons say otherwise.

Unfortunately, there is no choice in this election. Two full blown, big spending, government control of everything socialists, or a moderate socialist.

I'll take the one moderate socialist for 100, Alex.

I can see it now....(The joint ticket)

Hillary plays "the View" card, Rosie and co complains that "A woman is playing 2nd fiddle to a man" if Obama gets the nod to be prez.
Obama plays "The Race Card" like OJ did, if he is to be the V.P.

Spare me, once again I am voting Republican, and I'm nowhere near rich.

I'm truly impressed by some people's faith in the electorate despite history. We've had big elections before and people don't turn out in droves. There are a lot of people who will do a lot of talking and make a lot of promises, but come November, are too busy to vote. Hell, "Obama Girl" didn't even vote for Obama in the primary. This isn't the first controversial election we've had. I almost have to laugh when people declare that voters of whatever flavor will come out of the woodwork to vote for or against someone. "Voters" will come out of the woodwork to declare that they'll do all kinds of things, but when its time to put up or shut up, historically, they don't do either. And would we like to guess which demographic has seen the largest growth in voter turnout in the past 20 years? 18-24. And a lot of them are liberals. A huge part of Obama's campaign has been his appeal to younger voters. Sorry, I just don't see the big collective voter statement from either side that people keep predicting.

Based on Senator Clinton's recent comments in Wyoming, it my personal opinion that she's willing to accept the VP position. I find that hard to believe but, it would give her another first and put her next in line to the throne. If I were Senator Obama, I'd be watching my back.
