Alicia Silverstone Naked PETA Ad (via TVShark.com)

I found it here while cruising the net this morning on AOL. Here's the link they provided.

http://video.aol.com/video-...vsharkcom/2963095361

Interesting ad, it didn't sell me on PETA but I did watch it. Beautiful Lady and no guys, you don't get to see any secret places.
But, I'm all for vegetarians, leaves more beef for me.

Editted to put the link on, sorry, I forgot it paste it in.

I saw that the other day. Hot chick for being skinny. I wonder if it was a body double. She's rumored to have had non-nudity clauses in all of her contracts. Hmmm....

Check out this article. Here's an excerpt:

""Anthropologists and evolutionary biologists usually point to things like the rise of language and tool making to explain the massive expansion of early hominid brains. But this is a Catch-22. Something had to start the process of brain expansion and I think it was early humans eating clams, frogs, bird eggs and fish from shoreline environments. This is what created the necessary physiological conditions for explosive brain growth," says Dr. Cunnane, a metabolic physiologist at the University of Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec."

It's an interesting hypothesis. It also neatly ties into the already-known effects of iodine deficiency on the human brain.

Homo Sapien was designed to be omnivorous. My suggestion would be that if you decide to be strictly vegetarian, make sure you get all the nutrients you're missing by not eating meat. Otherwise, your health may suffer.

Consider the amount of pesticide you need to use to make the veggies look good and palitable for the consumer. I'd venture you've killed a few thousand more critters per acre than a hog or a bovine? I'd become a vegan for a lill'l while just to bump uglies with Miss Silverstone . I'd still go back to a good pork loin , ribs, burger after awile.
But then again she could make the change worthwile? I'm up for a test.

Really, these educated scientists think clams, frogs, bird eggs and fish were all evolved and doing their thing while we were all still stupid cavemen. Never believe a scientist, they base all their info on chains of other bad information. Sorry for the rant.

I was a vegetarian for about nine years... the only reason I stopped is cause my new wife (three years) is not a vegetarian, and I found it easier to eat what she cooks, but I do not eat as much meat as most people.

I will tell you from personal experience, I did feel healthier as a vegetarian, and did not get sick as much. I had not had the flu or a cold for over ten years.

Hmmmmm...............Someone should take her to Carnivore to eat.

"Carnivore Restaurant

Tell Me What To Expect At The Carnivore Restaurant In Nairobi, Kenya?

The Carnivore is a unique experience. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has become a standard stop on the safari trail. Every type of meat imaginable, including four choices of wild game, is roasted on traditional Maasai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.

The waiters then carry these swords around the restaurant, carving unlimited amounts of the prime meats onto sizzling, cast iron plates in front of you. A wide selection of salads, vegetable side dishes, and a variety of exotic sauces accompany the meat feast. Dessert and coffee follow this. The full meal including a soup course, is a flat price.

The famous Carnivore Dawa cocktail was introduced to Kenya at the Carnivore. Dawa in Kiswahili means medicine or a health revival potion. The Carnivore "Dawa" is the drink chosen to hydrate, refresh and sharpen the taste buds.

The food details are mouth watering. They are:

Whole joints of meat - legs of lamb and pork, haunches of venison, rumps of beef, sirloins, cks of lamb, spare ribs, sausages, chicken wings, and skewered kidneys.

Crocodile - The meats are constantly basted, and turned until perfectly cooked; the meat is succulent and well flavored."

Edit for link: http://www.africanmeccasafa...rsions/carnivore.asp Also, check out the second video at the bottom of the page.

Alright so I'm not reading any of the other posts, and I haven't done anything but watch the vid and all I have to say is....WEAK. Sure she is a good looking girl, but that video had NO compelling statement at all! "I am a veg....I feel good...blah blah). That was a weak ad, and if that is they way the whole campaign goes they wasted a crapload of money to promote being a VEG.

aaaahahhahaaa!!

humans were meant to eat veggies AND meat. its that simple. look at the shape of our teeth, not as sharp as shark teeth and not as dull and cow teeth. and there are so many other supporting facts to the omnivor statement but im not going to be the one to list them.
