The first time I saw that pic, I thought pretty much the same thing. The look of concentration was amazing. (The photographer is a pro, who makes her living following the agility competitions and taking pics like that.)
Then Tam blew it all out of the water by telling me that 5 seconds later, she (the dog -NOT Tam) was running around like a complete fool.
Here she is, being herself...
I'm amazed that I let this thread get away the first time. There are some beautiful dogs here.

Great dogs, people. Nice to know I'm not the only one who's crazy about a dog. Here's Angie, my almost 5 month old Standard Poodle. Not a FRENCH Poodle, A FREEDOM Poodle!!!!

Our three..again FieroDiva...that is heartbreaking. You are in our thoughts as you come to terms with losing your sweet dog. As to the vet..I doubt he needs any further pain to add to the horror he must have felt as it happened. Nick

Thanks for the kind words. Our vet feels horrible about it. I understand it wasnt his fault, and the guy that hit her should be punished for not stopping. That is just unbeleivable cruel to me.
Looks like we may be looking for another dog soon. But No puppies.
My best buddy, a half black lab, half golden retriever mix. He's the most intelligent, most well-behaved, most loving dog both my dad and I have owned, including lots of black and yellow labs, some mutts, and a cocker spaniel. I could go on, but it would take too long to explain what a good dog he is. Maybe I'll bring him to a show sometime and let a few of you guys meet him.

Nicka was a dwarf Great Pyrenees that was given to Amanda a few years ago from a customer of ours that bought her from another breeder. She never got any bigger than this.
Chloe was a Blood Hound we got a few years back, both are gone but not forgotten

This is our Miniature American Eskimo "Casper" .... He's our heartbeat at out feet
I know the feeling... Here's Meg. She's my 12 year old Eskie that decided that being a lapdog was her calling, thus hasn't grown past 13 lbs.... She hates to see suitcases packed since she knows someone is leaving... this was her solution to keep my wife home this time.

Both are rescue dogs. We got Sunshine at about 7 weeks (they tried to tell us it was 10). The "shelter" didn't isolate incoming dogs from others, so first we had to fight off intestinal parisites, then demodectic mange. (She was an expensive puppy). Shadow we got at about 1 year old, and we don't think she had a very happy first year with the family who had her. Took her a while (and a name change -- for me, she never answered to her original name), but she smiles all the time now, and greets us at the door with bounding leaps.
Misty, you've met in another thread, and Snowflake, well, Snowflake was a black lab mix who was with me for 16 years. I don't have the heart right now to edit her pictures down to PIP size, so they'll have to wait. But Snowflake was always so very, very full of Life.
All have been rescue dogs, and they have all brought love, and a constant reminder of the sheer joy of just being alive, to us on a daily basis. It's what dogs do, and they're very good at it.
FieroDiva -- I have to add my condolences. I know it doesn't change the pain, but I'm sorry to hear that this happened.

This is Misty. She's my 9 year old wippet. She goes to the shop with me and hunts wabbits till it's nap time, then she finds her blanket.
This is Bubba. He's a 3 year old golden retriever that belongs to my shop landlord, but he comes to the shop to play with Misty and get his biscuit. He's been coming over since his whole body was the size his head is now. He weighs in at about 120lbs.! He used to get a little stick to chew on, now he takes an entire piece of firewood and makes toothpics out of it!
They are both great companions to each other and me. I call them my fiberglass dogs, cause they always seem to find some matte or resin crumbs to lay in, then when they get up, they have it hanging on their sides!
Glad to see so many other dog lovers on the board.
HAGO!

I have to get rid of my dog Tupac. The girlfriend says she gets the willies from it staring at her and the mail man is complaining about him too when he stares out the window at him.
