how bad have you messed up a song lyric? at the risk of looking like a tone deaf jackass here's mine. Aerosmith Dude Looks LIke A Lady. for years i thought it was "Do me like a lady" AC/DC Dirty Deeds. thought they said "Thunder Chief" instead of "done dirt cheap" Don Henley. The Boys of Summer. "after the poison summer is gone"

Don't feel too bad, when I was young I thought it sounded like Thunder Jeep.

thankfully I dont sing, so I don't know what I messed up.
When gone in 60 seconds (the one with N Cage) starts they play a song by Moby called Body Rock. I don't know what I was singing but it was waaaaaaay off, I only found out when I had the subtitles on one day
there are a bunch at this site.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul"

Not a song, but as a kid I used to say:
I pledge allegiance to the republic of Richard Strands...
Paul McCartney and Wings song "Jet"
quote Jet! was your father as bold as a sergeant major? How come he told you that You were hardly old enough yet? And jet, I thought the major Was a lady suffragette. Jet! jet! Ah, matter, want jet to always love me? Ah, matter, want jet to always love me? Ah, matter, much later.
I thought that "much later" was "Mark Schlater"

For years I thought Jimmy Hendrix said:
"Excuse me while I kiss this guy" instead of "kiss the sky"

Oh, Oh here she comes,
Watch out boy, she'll chew you up.
Oh, Oh, here she comes,
She's a mag-neater!
That, and a song where a really freaky looking dude was asking if I
really wanted to hurt him!

I thought it was F*ck the Casbar. And still do.
My twin brothers used to sing a song back in the 80's with lyrics that sounded like "He's a wonton Amero", except their version was "He's a one ton tomato".
And their version of Kenny Rogers' "I guess there's just no getting over you" was "I just spilled my spagetti over you. Oh, what more can I do?"

Culture Club with Boy George. I really liked the song you're referring to, despite the fact he was probably singing about his, ummm.... buddy.

For the longest time I thought Elvis was singing some kind of a war protest song:
Quit calling the draft I can't walk out Because I love you too much baby Nick will know this song for sure.

Steve Perry in Journey... "Carry a Lazer Gun down the roads that you must travel... Carry a Lazer Gun through the highways of the night..." Sounds good to me... I always wanted a laser gun. Especially one with a 40watt range. ( <--- Terminator reference)

Yep, "Kyrie eleison" by Mister Mister
Welcome to the real word CD.
Wife says Kyrie eleison is latin for "Lord have mercy".
I graduated in 84, and still do some DJing every now and then. Base of my misic is 80's. Go figure!
