Alright NTFC, after today's meeting we came up with a team building endeavor for those of us going to the 30th anniversary in Indy, even if your not going and don't want to be left out. Please come to the Jim Swim Party after the June club meeting. I'm not going to spill the beans but it separate the men

Don't look to hard cause it will be Arlington all day, they don't drive to AR til Sunday morning. They're will be a lot of ppl heading over to the drive-in in Ft.Worth Saturday night to watch American Graffiti. Plus, I think it's suppose to rain on Saturday.

I just got an email from Ben Banks of Bat City Fieros in Austin. They are having their second anniversary on 6-15-13. I forwarded a copy to the few of you I have addresses for. Maybe we could meet and caravan down to Austin to help them celebrate. The Grand Prix go-cart thing looks like a blast and they have their new tee-shirts almost ready.
If you want a copy of the email and you are not on my short list, (4), please send me your email to fieroseblack@yahoo.com.

blazes... well doesn't that take it... i feel much less compelled to finish assembling the red car now... and i noticed the the inspections is out on it too... lol.
I can't drive to Texarkana on Sunday, I have church plans followed by a date on my couch watching the Dover race.
(anger face does not apply to this part) Mike, thank you for posting the BCF news. That is Father's Day weekend and I will be out of town... but cross promoting other clubs and activities is always welcome in our club threads. Tom, if you wanna mail that to the NTFC list... that would be cool. People might like a shirt even if they cannot make the trip.

I am making this public apology to one of the long time NCTF members. I said / posted some comments in fun that when looking back were in bad taste. They have been removed. Again the post was made fully in jest. I regret that they hurt anyone’s feelings and/or in any way insinuated a lack of respect of that person.
Jim has long been an active and supporting force for the NTFC. Hosting pool parties and get-togethers for the club. He has fabricated custom parts for many of our Fieros, including my own. Often barely if even covering the cost of the materials and/or time. He has done it for his love of the Fiero & the members themselves. And lastly but certainly the most important to me, he has been my friend. I was out of line and apologize completely and sincerely.

Here here! That was a good apology and eloquently stated Jim's importance.
I would like to add that it is real easy to dogpile and carry joking too far in the company of friends or family. You find yourself saying things you would never even say to a stranger. That is something that I have to look out for...
It can be fun to be the piler... Not so much the dog.

I accept your apology, just wish it didn't have to get to this level. Most people who know me, know that I'm a pretty care free guy usually. And I can take a little ribbing, and ok with an occasional joke poked at me.
Have a good night.

Why would they feel obligated to buy you anything. by you telling us that your bday is on the 22nd really means you want us to get you a present, aka blake. why did you bring up the 22nd anyway?
btw, Happy Birthday! i still ain't getting you anything for it.
edit: you guys going to get any kilts made?

Well my birthday is on the 26th. I plan on getting you the same thing I did last year.... nothing, nata. Thats nata thing. Since I will be 63 and thats most likely at lease twice as old as you, you should get me twice as much. Never mind, twice nothing is still nothing.
Happy birthday....Ben.

No, we will never have club logo kilts because there are some things I do Not Wish to See! I have a feeling you NTFC guys would go commando with them. I don't need a present but if someone saves me a piece of Pie it would be appreciated.

Our regularly scheduled monthly club meeting will be this weekend, June 22nd, for lunch from 1100- to early afternoon at Pappas BBQ.
We will be talk a bit more about the trip to Indy. Also a look ahead to Fall activities like the Tiger Prowl, the PSN at Addison Airport, the NTFC Fall Fun Run, and the Ruckus in the Roses.
As always... feel free to bring some items for Show and Tell... plug your projects, show trophies, or anything else you need to share among friends!
Also... there is a rumor that some of us are going to get our hairs clipped very short at this club meeting... come and make fun of us. I plan on not washing my hair all week so it will be extra smelly and oily

It really depends on what hairs you are referring too. I usually wash my hair once a week on Saturday, need it or not. But I will be glad to wait just to see what is going on. Burrrrrrrrrrrr its getting a little colder around here.
Anthony, don't let anyone take the "hawk."

Hey guys, maybe I missed something but what`s up with the mohawks?
I didn`t know if maybe this was something between you guys or if they are becoming popular again as it seems like I am seeing more guys go this route lately.

Anthony our resident mohawk expert has been sport'n one for a while. at the last club meeting Mike P. and I thought we need a club haircut so we decided that the "Hawks" would be the 'do. It doesn't take much to talk Blake into it, plus he sported a hawk a couple of years ago. We thought it would be a great team (club) building effort NTFC represent in Indy.
