Marking the calender now....I should be there as usual....Since nothing is set in stone except the dates and I know many have expressed interested in...Several would like to not have a 5 hour Show in Shine in the parking lot...Many have talked about maybe having the gathering a nice park out by the lake or cut the show/shine down to a few hours and spend the rest of the time cruising the hill country...With all the curvy roads that the area has to offer it is a shame to waste so much time in a parking lot......I know it is yalls show but this is just things that have been talked about after the fact when we are all sitting around BSing......
Poe... dude... people will believe whatever they want no matter what... but did you really need to instigate? For those that don't know that Poe is kidding, please be advised that Poe is kidding.
Say AAFO, thanks for moving the weekend up! Prettier flowers on the drive, generally lower weather temps, does not interfere with Mother's Day... Nice pick there! I will try to make it.

It's number 14! Lets see, that means Rob / A.A.F.O. started Round-Up in 1997, thats neat. Hope to see all our friends from years past and have the chance to make some new ones. It is your participation that seperates Round-Up from being just another A.A.F.O. meeting.
If you need any info or have any issues and/or concerns let us know.

It seems I sit around for months and a big deal is to wash DARKWING and get to an A.A.F.O. meeting. All of a sudden it is ROUND-UP and/or RUCKUS and I get all excited and start spending money!!!
I love seeing what everyone is doing to their car and/or planning to do to theirs. I remember when some peoples great rides were burnt up or junked out Fieros. What you guys and gals have done over the years is nothing but amazing. My hat is off to all of you. If you can please come down and/or up to old San Antonio and make a old man smile.
See You, DARKWING, aka, Mike Parker

Sadly, I will be working that week but I may be working in San Antonio that week or the week after. I am going to see if I can adjust my schedule so I can be there for Saturday! Unfortunately, I will have to be driving a rental but it will be great to meet up with everyone again.

It is always fun to see the Fiero people and what they have done since the last Round-Up. I enjoy just catching up with everyone and hearing their plans for their Fiero. Everybodies Fiero is is some stage of modification or restoration. I have been at it off and on since 1992 and I am not close to being done. Every year people come to Round-Up without a Fiero and they seem to have a great time. Don and Jane come to mind with me, its always good to see them, Fiero and/or not!

For all those whom have asked for a change in venue, your voices have been heard. This years Roundup will NOT follow the venues of Roundups from the past. This years event will start with a casual show along with fellow car enthusiasts from around the immediate area at a local haunt called Panera Bread. A large number of vehicles gather at this North Central location every last Saturday of the month for casual browsing and coffee. I believe the name of the event is actually Cars and Coffee. Anyway, this lasts till around 1030 am after which we will cruise up to the Hill Country for a Lunch somewhere and possible sightseeing. More details on Saturdays events will be forthcoming.
Sunday will still have a Breakfast and event close as in years past.
Lodging and further details will be emerging this week. Stay tuned.
So for all of you that have been looking for something different from the folks here in the Alamo Town...... whoop there it is!

great idea! wow. This is really intriguing. I suddenly want to copy your idea...
Several owners in D/FW do the Cars & Coffee up here... For me, It is 1.5 hour drive (1 way!) to make it to our C&C... but I have never regretted it.
They pull about 300 cars or so... a huge informal draw with amazing machines. The most Fiero's we ever got to go was like 3 in one day... and then we didn't really caravan in together... or even park together.
Just based on experience up here... people start arriving EARLY (like before 0700)... and parking is first come first served. Keeping clubs or like cars in the same area may require some coordination. I guess I'll have to drink one less margarita on Friday so I can get up early!
I look forward to seeing what the SA C&C edition holds in store!

That's the location for the show and shine!! Checked it out last Saturday and they had around 100 cars--Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, Z06s, Muscle cars, Tuners, etc. Great site to show off our rides and take a look at some awesome others. We will need to show up around 8AM to get our cars together. The plan is to caravan from the hotel. It is on the Northside of SA and is a quick exit point out of town to the cruise in the Hill Country or other points North. We are working on a killer cruise route. For those who attended the Roundup 9.5 at Canyon Lake hosted by our own Scott Anderson, you were treated to a great cruise around the lake. Scott is going to come up with a similar drive. We are planning a day of cruising with stops for eats and fun. So, for those who have asked for a change of pace, be there!!!

Listen up all you Fierophiles who plan to be in San Antonio for the Roundup!! Here's the hotel info:
Since we are moving to points North for the Show and Shine, we are moving our home base hotel to the Microtel/Airport on 281N at the intersection with Brookhollow. We have negotiated a rate of $45/night for a single or double. We have 20 rooms reserved and will be held under name AAFO Roundup until a week before the Roundup on April 22. The hotel info is
Microtel/Airport North 15314 San Pedro Avenue San Antonio, Texas 78232 210-404-1900
Call the hotel directly at the number above and ask for the AAFO Roundup block. Don't wait as there is a deadline for the blocked rooms. After April 22 the price will go up to the going rate. Breakfast is included at this price. There are lots of places to eat around the area and it is a 10 minutes ride to the Saturday AM show. Will post the Friday night collection point for margaritas and such soon as the local crew is meeting to finalize such matters. Looking forward to seeing everyone here for a great weekend!! Any questions post replys as we will be monitoring the thread.

Tough decision... The Hotel is only an hour and 15 minutes from my house, but the wife is not really a Morning person... Planning on being there hopefully in the Fiero.
