I fell asleep halfway through the show, so how exactly did the Fiero win? They were bashing it pretty good. It was leaking fluids pretty bad. I think that part was fake, because as bad as it was leaking, the car would not have run for long. In addition, the top speed was only 55. Obviously there were some major engine issues.

Good point. Reality TV is not reality at all. Much of it is to a written script and rehearsed. Things like situtaions, conflicts, fights, and negotiations are all staged beforehand. Ever watch Pawn Stars? Isn't it strange that Rick always has historical infomation on just about every piece coming into the store? It is because the producers of the show provide that info to him before the seller come in. They know exactly when and what people will be bringing in. This is what makes TV interesting.

They should do a show w/ a highly modified Fiero vs a high end exotic... Now that would be interesting; as long as they use one of PFF members Fiero's

TG America has turned into a good show. I liked it from the start too. So what that it's not the British version. It's still good. I like Adam Carolla's Car Show on Speed too. Hate me.

The Fiero won because the final test was a giant electromagnet positioned over the car to see what would come off, (to check build quality). The giant magnet pulled the trunk right off the Rolls and the Jag. The fiberglass re-bodied Fiero resisted the magnet with no issues.

If that was a V6 it really needed some attention. I though it was a 4cyl running on only 2. They should send it to V8 Archie and have some fun with it.

Gotta say that I just finished watching the show and honestly......It was really pretty good!! that segment with the Porsche was badass and the tests were fun and funny to watch. I found myself laughing with my wife at the magnet test at the end. I thought the whole damn roof on the Fiero would pop off but when nothing came off I was kinda shocked. Surprised at how easily the trunk lids of both the other cars just popped right off and when tanners Jag lost the wipers and the lid I was pretty much crackin' up by then. Sure would have been nicer if that Fiero ran worth a crap, hell even my stocker could get over 120 pretty easy..... I gotta say also that a v12 jag with a v8 looks like tons of fun.... Those were some pretty cool burnouts. That show at TIMES comes off as a dead copy of the Brittish show but honestly it is much better than a lot of people have been giving it credit for. Tanner can sure drive we all know that but the other guys are pretty funny at times. I think they need to come up with their own gags a little more and try to distance themselves from a carbon copy show but other than that I quite enjoyed it.... peace
