Yes they bolt up. no, there's little after market stuff for them. Awesome engine in a Fiero though.

Top: lower intake manifold, upper intake plenum, throttle body and all the related gubbins on that, fuel rail, injectors, injector harness, fuel pressure regulator, gaskets. Some sort of dummy pulley (like I did) to replace power steering pump pulley.

Blunt(ish end): Starter

Other: Miscellaneous plumbing for cooland/vac lines. I'm guessing there's a crank position senson on the side of the blockj, cannot see from the pics. Need that if not. ECM, Ignition module and coils (same coil as Fiero uses, just three of them). Plug leads. wire, patience!
Exhaust manifolds.

You'll also need of course:

Exhaust system (probably have to fab your own, nothing off the shelf likely to fit so need to weld!), O2 sensor, bung to wled into exhaust for O2 sensor. Cat, muffler. engine mount, at least for the sharp end.

Most of these parts (starter, plenum, TB, etc) can be transferred over from a stock 2.8L, right?

No. The 3.4 DOHC is a somewhat different beast.

Sounds like it might be easiest to buy a complete blown engine to swap various parts over?

That's what I did, or thought I was doing. The bad motor I bought cheap turned out to be good! Now I have 1 good used motor, 1 brand new crate motor and only enough intake and accessory stuff to run one at a time. I'm still several hundred bucks ahead of the game, though.

They were like $400, if I remember correctly, but he raised the price to around $700. He doesn't have any currently listed, but still may have some available. Guy's eBay ID is electric_uncle_sam

Ah, that's right, and the freight shipping was $175. All I remember for sure is that I should have jumped on one when I had the chance.
