I have to say they were fair. They didn't do anything to make it more or less than it actually was and to be honest, I like all 3 cars that competed. I just like the caprice a bit better than the wagon. The cutlass is also a great car.
What was the guy hoping to do by jumping out of the fiero rolling backwards? This show answers the question "What happens when you give Beavis and Butthead a car"?

i think they are, the uk ones allways looked at the reaction of the piano car (moris marina i think) so please try not to get to upset or the fiero will be the TG US piano drop car lol

I have to admit, the Reliant Robin episode on the UK version was epic! I also liked the one that aired last week of the SUVs driving through the So American wilderness.
Well... at least they didn't blow it up/drop a piano on it/convert it into a sailboat/park it behind a truck/play 'chestnuts' with it/torch it. ...still, though. I would have liked that car before they destroyed it.

Dear God I pray that nobody at Gm takes that show seriously.... that rendering was quite possibly the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I thought the fiero was doing pretty well tho. There was now way it was gonna run with the water inside it because the computer is inside the console I guess. I guess if there was any sort of performance tests other than that accelleration test the fiero would have easily tromped the rest but they wanted to do all the really stupid tests they could dream up. I gotta admit I have seen worse shows and the guys are actually kinda funny sometimes. Peace....

When I saw them filling the car I told my wife. "There is no way it is going to start". I was hoping that they had relocated the ECM before filling the cabin with water. Nope.
Tanner did the Fiero justice and was clearly the one having the most fun on the open road drive. He would be welcome to drive my car. (As long as he doesn't fill it with water).

I always wondered why Leno wasnt the host? He is like a perfect match for the Jeremy Clarkston guy... add in some annoying skinny dude and boom, perfect knockoff!
I am always a bit confused that the hosts were just not that enthusastic in their own way.. the descriptions were very scripted and the adjectives predictable.
Leno was asked to be a host but refused on the grounds that the show would most likely have manufacturers as sponsors so he couldn't say what he really wanted to. http://www.autoblog.com/200...p-gear-usa-may-suck/

Yes, Tanner Foust is a very accomplished driver. Him giving props to the Fiero in the show is a great endorsement for our little cars.
I personally am glad they used a nice looking Fiero for the show. Because even though they beat it up, it looked good on camera, and was complimented by Tanner. Maybe our cars will get a little more respect because of it.

I enjoyed the episode. Was always wondering what it would be like to see a Fiero on Top Gear and I think it did exceptionally well. I'm glad that they used a very neat example of a Fiero because it really looked awesome on screen, although it is a shame that they ruined it in some of those pointless tests. I think the soda cup test was completely unnecessary since that has already been done in 'How I met your mother'
I'd say the positive comments made by Tanner definitely outweigh the negatives made by the others. They weren't anywhere near as harsh as we expected them to be.
