ooo C4 LED mods have you tried changing the light color on the LCD speedo? there was something about that on the corvette forum. it involved changing that filter paper colors too or just removing it. i was going to do mine white or red. either would have looked badass on a black on black 95. maybe mix a little bit of red and amber
It's a piece of overhead transparency, printed black using my laser printer.
The LEDs, ballast resistors, and switch are all mounted on a small PCB. The PCB is mounted to the CNC milled plastic faceplate using nylon standoffs. The faceplate is painted with Krylon wrinkle black, as well as the other interior trim pieces which were previously "faux aluminium".
See post by Oslo above. I got all the side markers LED from him, my running lights and my LED signal lights that's from somewhere else. I will have to figure out how to get all my information together and post them here.

Sorry that I didn't specify earlier, but yes I was talking about your running/signal lights!

anyone know where to find some 3w amber LED? amber is the dimmest of LEDs that ive seen. i need/want the brightest amber LED possible.
Watts really doesn't apply to LEDs for brightness. You need to look for the highest "mcd" and the widest viewing angle, (depending on what you are trying to do). Start here: http://www.superbrightleds....age2Disp=%2Fleds.htm Once you select your LEDs you'll need to do 2 more things: 1. Learn to solder 2. Learn to select the right resistors
THIS calculator will help you select the right resistors: http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz Just plug in the data you get from the specs. chart on the Superbrightleds website
As for the soldering.....practice.....

im good with all that, i just havent found any amber LEDs that are a high mcd. the last set of amber leds i had that cross ref'd with 921's were total crap. they were very dim. it could have also been the company, v-leds.com. ive used superbrightleds before, i shoulda stuck with them this time. all the amber ones i see on the SBLEDS dont have as high of a rating as some of the other colors.
*EDIT* i never looked at individual LEDs on that site, just some ready replacement bulb kind.
very nice. once the disability/retired pay kicks in, i will be one lit up fiero! all stock lights converted to LED or HID... total power consumption 8 watts? lol i wish.
