well i finally came up with a name for her (THE BEAST)lol not cause she's fast but shes the 666th made and she is evil lol. So wat did u guys name ures
------------------ MY COUPE!!!!!(THE BEAST)(666th MADE)
Wife named it "Clown Car" or "That THING in the basement." I call it, "It." To me, ships are assigned gender and not cars. Hope I don't pi$$ anyone off about this.
Maybe its a generational thing. If I did call "It' a "she" I'd name it after my first wife, "Mean, a$$ kicking, rice eating machine." (First wife was Asian--good woman but not to me)

I originally called it "The Silver Freak", which is a play on the "Silver Streak" name. But I've taken to just calling it "The Freak". See build thread in the Construction Zone for details.

i feel foolish giving names to inanimate objects lol. im not AGAINST it, it just makes me feel foolish. however, my Fiero will soon be referred to as the Fi Ero (pronounced like ff-eye areo) because ill have a Fi Car Audio stereo system. but, not in an "its its NAME!" kinda way lol
Well I work in the performance aftermarket, Have a 3 1/2 car garage with Porsche seats for visitors. Dedicated a room in the house to cars and race parts where you can find tables made of indy car tires and parts of Earnhardts [SR and JR], Harvick, Force and Garlits ETC cars decorating the room as well as some driver helmet and other memerobilita. My Daily driver is 300 HP. I also make many trips to the track evey year.
Hmmmmm I think you are correct I must really hate cars since I did not apply a silly name to my car. But I still got a pair and don't highlight my hair. LOL!
Sorry, I just don't play the name game unless it breaths and has a heart beat.
There are some cool name on some cool cars. At one time it was special to have a very special car with a very special name. But anymore too many silly names on cars that are not really anything special. It just kind of killed it for me. Normal cars with cute names just cheapen the whole deal .
Agree or not just my take and opinion. I decree no right or wrong here.
You can name it if you want Fiero is good enough for me.

I've never called it by any gender, but the "Felix the Car" nickname came from when I found a stuffed Felix the Cat under the passenger seat which brought back some good memories from when I was a kid. I wanted a Fiero since I was a kid, and because it's a bizarre black and white car with cat-like reflexes, it kind of made sense.

My daughters name cars and I just go with it. My Fino started as a black Formula. My daughter named it Jemima. Now that it wil be yellow, she named it Rose, as in yellow rose of Texas (which is a song about a black woman). Barney was purple. Tar Baby was a black 88 GT.
------------------ Life is just SO much better when you own AND drive a Fiero!
