How do you get up to whatever seat you may employ? Cars with rumble seats have foot pads upon which you step up. Climb up on a painted deformable urethane bumper?

dont know yet, but that is the least of my worries lol. easily remedied by adding reinforcement, making a custom heavy duty panel out of fiberglass, building a custom step into the car (also pop-/fold-out?), etc.


and also, i thought of a use for this flip-out seating idea. in the VERY END, i want my car to be show-quality. the rumble seating would make it a great parade car ;D. not to mention REALLY unique lol

ok just throwing in my two cents. why not have your seat fold down ON the deck lid to form a mock scoop?
reverse hinges with lockdown type clasp.
just an idea.
