has anybody on here seen or made them selfs the rear like the rear clip?? also the control arms front rear upper and lower ??? where would you buy them also coil overs ??
If you're talking about making the entire rear section of the car from the passenger tub into a tube frame it's frequently done with kit cars whereas they can just eliminate all the unnecessary weight in the rear and include the stretch needed instead of simply stretching the stock frame. I believe that most people that do the tube rear sections use Corvette suspension.

That, I want to see. I've been churning ideas in my head for a while now.

I am planning to stop buy Russ's over thanksgiving (if he is home) and will try to get some new picks if any progress has been made (he has several going on).

There is a fiero operation of this order going on over at ARI's kitcar forum.... The owner is wanting to install a caddy 4.9 motor longitudinally, with only a 3 inch stretch for a 355 replica..... He even cut out the firewall, .....
Was tube frame fiero ever finished meaning like body panels.

Last night I sat my stretched F40 panels on it, the rockers were about an inch off the ground in the middle and a 1/4 inch in the rear. The front hood was an inch off the ground in the front and sitting on the tires. I'm looking at raising it about 4 inches and putting air-over shocks on all four corners so I can raise the car to enter parking lots and lower out on the open road.

Dave Held is still at it down in Cocoa beach, Fl. I know he built these for long wheel base kitcars but I don't know if they would fit a stock Fiero or not. I sent him an email to find out. here is the link to his site. D.
thank you very much they look pretty bad ass. but seems like it would be pretty pricey, do you think that it would eliminate a lot of weight from the equation? and dose anybody make new body panels to accommodate the longer body? how about the a carbon fiber deck lid with a scoop already

I emailed Held last night and he said that he can make them for a stock Fiero as well as the longer kits. to price them he would need to know dimensions, engine and trans you want to use and what style cradle you want he makes several differant types. D.

No association to the post owner but I was surfing jaxed.mash (search engine-Ebay/Craigslist/Kiiji) and came across a whole fiero parts car with tubular front suspension and coilovers over in Medford, NJ. Possibly a good start to what your looking for.
