I met a guy with the last Formula made. Black with grey interior. It still runs and drives but is beat pretty bad. The guy is going to be doing a lambo body kit on it with a 3800 SC.

Kinda sad it will not be a fiero ever again, but at least it wont get crushed i guess.

I don't believe he is interested in selling it or I would have asked.

Interesting, I am going to double check my stuff, but I believe the last Formula was red! Vin number should be between #26397 and 26401.

Does he know it's the last one made ?

He said he got it from a Pontiac employee. I thought he said there were some assembly signatures on it, but I could be wrong.

I can contact him and ask I guess. If it is ok with him I will just post his contact info here. I wish someone could convince him to sell the car to a restorer. If it is in fact the last one made.

There is only two 88 fieros that had signatures and that was the last 2 red 88GTs. Those two were given away to 2 plant employees.

There wasn't any 88 Formula's with signatures on them. If so, ask the guy for some pics....this would be interesting to see, if true.

Since the last two Fieros were GT's, and the last one was 1G2PG1195JP226402 (car # 26,402 of 26,402 Fieros built in 1988), you would expect the last Formula would be VIN # 1G2PE119XJP226400. However, using Carfax to see if any car exist using various combos, it turns out the 3rd last car built was a coupe, 1G2PE11R4JP226400.

The fourth last car built, 1G2PE1191JP226399, would be the last Formula. Carfax has 3 records for this car.

Almost makes you want to go on a treasure hunt for the last Formula. Weird that all the first Fieros were red and the last Fieros were red.

Guess he is either full of BS or the guy he got the car from was. I wont bother contacting him to find out which. I did not see the signatures. i may be mistaken about what he said as i was distracted by the diablo kit he had. The Formula was black though, so if the last formula was red this was not it. it was original black and not a repaint, so his formula can't be the real deal
