no open drinks in my Fiero. NONE must have sealing cap/top
being its not a daily driver - when it does get driven - lateral G's pretty much get everything loose knocked over, and clutch dumps, and brake slams finish it off.

I put my drink behind the seatbelt latch; it rests against the seat and me, never had a problem. I have racing seats and a subwoofer housing, I'll take a picture tomorrow.

This was offered by Mslorifiero but like all of her endeavors, it went down the toilet after many failed promises. It was supposed to screw in to the cigarette lighter/aldl cover.
If all goes well, I emailed Fierostore about remaking these so hopefully, they will.
Does anyone have any updates about these? It looks like a really nice idea.

Yeah. MsLoriFiero made those and I don't know if she sold any before making more excuses and discontinuing them....much like her GT windows in the mall.

The cup holders in a Fiero are behind the instrument panel between it and the dash. One on each side. Don't try a coffee cup or a can of soda, it ain't pretty.
I figured this out one day, and I could hear the angels singing!
So long as they behave, I'll usually allow my passenger to hold my drink. One caveat is they must wear gloves to insulate their body heat and cooties from my drink. Don't want any spoilage.
In the usual absence of a passenger, I just lay my drink (screw top) on the seat.

My new one came with this, not sure where you get them but there nice just transporting, not drinking. Just sit in the pocket so you can take the off. Sorry for the bad pic. EDIT: By the way I don't ever eat or drink in my baby, just a water know and then.

i'm sorry all, but i must agree with whoever said fiero's weren't meant to have cupholders.. interirors weren't made for it.. as far as drinking in my baby.. lol walk fool..
WoW I can't believe anyone has not posted this legendary cup holder! I had this in my GT, this is what you all NEED to have! It came for the stick or auto. It was nicely made and of great quality that installed with velcro, I can't recall the brand though.

These cup holders are for sale right here on the forum. They were an offshoot design of the one that Slammed87GT made. The original designer/producer does not make them anymore (at least I don't think so) and they are actually made by Greg Strobel, and I sell them.

I like the Hi-Riser Cup holder. The base bolts right in place of the ALDL cover plate and the cup holder slides right in and out of the base as you need it.
What ever happen to these? I haven't seen him at any Fiero meets for a loooong time.. :/

This reminds me of the holders from my '96 Kia Sportage. Nice and slick, just over the radio...but don't get a drink larger than a "medium".

A friend of mine has this in his 86 GT: I think they're for sale at Walmart.
As for me, if I can't seal the drink up, it doesn't come in the car.
i got one of those 2, ever since my copilot drink holder spilled her large drink from wendys, which she begged me to take her to, all over my brand new seat cover. (was my little sister, i should hav known better to trust her) but 20oz bottles go in that gap between the dash and the instrument panel =D
shoulda BIGGIE sized your wendy's order then fit it behind your instrument cluster....link you a couple of straws together and you wouldn't even have to reach up there to grab it...haha
I went with a holder from Oslo. Its a little in the way of the passenger getting in and out of the car, but not bad otherwise. So far I've had some 20oz bottles, a small can of energy drink (my roomate's, IMO they taste like crap), cups from Arby's, cups from Wendy's.
I have yet to try it on a Rt. 44 size from Sonic, but I imagine it'll fit

I just found this same item and bought it at Wal-Mart. I was going to mount mine higher but I think it is the best option for the lowest cost and effort. Also you can put the cup on top of the e-brake handle.

No food or drinks In My car unless you are willing to vacume and steam clean my interior.. My family truns all of their cars into movie trash cans and it disgusts me.. Even my POS Malibu doesn't get food or drinks in it unless it has a screw on lid or Im feeling very very nice
This one takes some getting used to. Especially when cornering. (Great for drag strips!)
I always store my spare can with my tire.
This is my "working on engine" spot.
all these and more, for $19.99, or just 3 easy payments of $14.99! leave me a PM in the next 10 minutes, and i'll double your order, free! that's two Universal Cup-Holders for the price of one!
