I am looking at purchasing a Mustang Foxbody spoiler for a Thunderbird that I own and I was wondering if it would look very good on a Fiero...

It's all speculation right now, and as soon as I get the new spoiler for the Tbird in the mail, I'll be sure to toss it up onto the Fiero to see how it looks!

Maybe someone can do a little photoshopping to see how it would look.

There's a white one here in the Tampa area that has a spoiler like that, looks pretty good.

i've had one on my 87 coupe for a while. i can't do pics any more but there is a thread in the archives where i showed how it fit on a coupe (if you have a fast back it won't work i don't think). do a search for "saleen wing" and it should come up.

i was never happy with the width and fooled with mine some (sorry, no pic of that either), but if you can be satisfied with that, i think it looks good on a coupe.

Ya know what. If you cut down the wing stands I might look alot better and give you a unique look.

Now don't anyone copy this and post it on a Mustang forum somewhere (our wings cost enough now) but; we took the wing from my 87GT (going wingless) and placed on my daughters 2006 Mustang just see how it would look. Well it fit perfect and looked way better than Fords GT wing! Sadly, the son-in-law and I could not talk my daughter in letting us put it on her car. Oh well....
I like that early stang wing on those Fieros, wonder how hard it would be to make it one wider by maybe 8" ?

i widened mine. i measured the imsa wing i have and hacked and glassed at it till it was about the same width. it came out well enough that i know that someone better at fiberglass could make something nice, or mod cheaper ones (i see new ones go down pretty cheap) for resale.

my brother gave me a camera phone and i tried taking a few pics of it. but i can't figure out how to send it anywhere (or the phone dosen't have that service. i don't know, i'm a techno idiot).

How is it a rice wing if it comes off a Mustang? In the end run what you want, it's your car.

This is a joke right? I mean, what's ricey about a factory wing on a car that came with a wing already from the factory? And since when were stock mustangs rice to people? Some of the fastest cars on the street are Mustangs.

Im not a wing guy on anything, but it looks better to me than the stock wing.

And about Mustangs, theres also more riced up Mustangs on the road than anything else except maybe Civics.

haha, yea Roger that's true, but I'm not sure an OEM American spoiler counts as rice.
