Low mount the GP Alt--There are severals ways to do this and you can either use the 97/98 or 99 up Alt. Go thru a few build threads and see which one you like the best and would be easiest for you to do.

Tons of ways, I had a "autozone" fiero alternator that was already 6rib, so I used that where the A/C pump goes. Most people can mount the alt down in the rear side of the motor when running an A/C pump.

Yes it's missing. You dont want it anyway. Have it programmed out of the ECM.

This housing can't be cut & welded. Its aluminum, and the Fiero stat housing is steel. Just use it as it is.

I have most all the odd parts you listed, if interested.

referring to the s/c tensioner ----does it have a bracket too that I need or just the tensioner? Do we need any additional idler pulleys for this swap? I seem to be missing a lot on the front of the engine compared to swap pics I've seen.

Also, what injectors do I need? He sold them before I bought the engine.

Any parts I can grab from normally aspirated 3800's? The yard is full of them.

Thanks Jeff

The SC bracket is neede along with the tensioner that bolts to it. You will need a set of L-67 injectors. Just get a parts list togeher and send it to Ed Morad so you know you are getting good parts.

The bracket you are looking for is a large piece of cast iron that sits above the water pump inlet and bolt to the head. At the same time it has a bracket for a dogbone set-up for the car it came from ( which you will cut off ) and it hold the coil packs, on the car it came from. Believe it or not they used the same bracket on the N/A 3800's and all you need to add is the tensioner assembly & idler pulley for the Supercharger Belt.

See the bracket on the far left of the engine ???
