Stuff is looking good Chris.

Are you going to delete the EGR valve, the reason I asked is the valve cover bolt where the EGR mounts will, I think, be in the way of the EGR valve.

And woo hoo I own page two.

the next little project is replacing the sunroof weatherstripping and rails:

I'll be using the rails off of my silver GT, but I need to get a nice sunroof seal.

If anybody can help, I've posted another thread here on some electrical problems that I'm having:

Involving no fuel pump, and some parking light issues.

Got the interior all tore apart to do some wiring:

Put in fog lights, an aftermarket horn, strobe lights and headlight LEDs

Next replaced the shocks and brake calipers. It all came off of my Fiero GT and had around 1,000 miles on the equipment, so in brakes/suspension terms, it's still fairly new!

Got it on the ground again, so now it's time to jack up the front and begin bleeding the brakes. After that I need to get the engine timed correctly, and then it's just a matter of installing body panels!!

Well, it has come down to it now... I'm no longer sure if it will make it to the show. I'm going to Roseau tomorrow to help out with a car show up there, and I'll be back around 6pm just to get ready for our show. Still got lots of work to do to it. It's running and driving ok, but lots wrong with other stuff still. Kinks to work out.

Here's the air filter assembly that is on there just for testing, this ugly thing will go and I'm putting together an open-air filter set up.

The decklid is VERY dirty from sitting out side for so long:

Left to do before the car is totally ready:

** Replace Sunroof seal rails and the seal itself
** Align Body Panels: Hood and Decklid
** Finish keyless Entry install and reassemble interior panels
** Install Custom Shiny air filter assembly
** Oil Change
** Exhaust Pros needs to get at the exhaust system - It doesn't have one... running with an open manifold
** clean clean clean!

Well, I have it on the road now, and it still needs some work.

What's left:

Exhaust
Sunroof Seal
Hood Alignment
Power Locks
Windshield

It is very very close to being done.

So how far will a Big Gulp fly if it's sitting on the wing when you pop the trunk with that deck lid spring there?

Where did you find that air cleaner setup... I'm kinda wanting one smaller than this stock thing i have..lol
And is it worth rebuilding a 84..with a duke. I know i have one and i'm debating on sticking with the duke or swapping to a 2.8. I just started exterior and got a gt front bumper with a chin spoiler. looks nice. exept mine eligned perfectly.. exept for the driverside of the bumpe is a little higher than the hood. I can fix by bolting it higher on the bumper. But it look like yours was lower that the hood. Oh, w8.. its your hood, nvm.

Anyways.. where can i get a new aircleaner setup? anyone?

I got the steering wheel off of ebay, I made the air cleaner setup myself. The spring is there under the decklid because I removed the torsion springs, and I shouldn't have... and the front bumper side-vents are just stick on vents with holes cut in them to move air.

Thanks for the comments!

After I got my blue Fiero's engine rebuilt, it just had no power... really disappointing after doing all that work, but after purchasing a fuel pressure regulator I found that it was only getting 3-4psi of fuel pressure instead of the 12-13psi that it should be getting. Tonight I finally dropped the gas tank to switch out fuel pumps and look what I found:

The rubber hose that connects the pump to the hard fuel line is completely burst open! That would explain it. So now all I have to do is install the new pump and slap it back up there! I plan on having the gas tank with new pump installed tomorrow afternoon sometime.

It looks like the pump that was in there was a replacement Napa pump already, but since I've got it apart (pain in the rear!) I'll replace it anyway since I've already got a new one.

Now after replacing the fuel pump, it FINALLY runs and drives like a car with a brand new engine!! Fired it up last night with the new pump, redid the timing and away I went. The car runs and drives great so far. Now it's time to get a couple "for sale" signs.
