Yellowstone I have a quick question for you, but first off I think I've said this before but your car is AMAZING, I'm actually doing pretty much the same thing to my motor as it's winter time over here and it's the perfect time, anyway. I'm looking to order from POR-15 and I just wanted to know the complete list of things that you ordered from them and quanities, That would help me out tonnes so then I would know what to buy instead of being in the dark, because they have so many products.

Yay I own page 3

Today, I took the Fiero out for its first spin. 10 miles on the Autobahn to seat the piston rings. Revs up great, temp a little higher due to the underdrive pulley, Borla sounds bad-ass!

Got two codes, 24 and 35, but no big deal I think. Anybody any experience with those codes?

Drained the oil and will chnage it this afternoon with new filter.

YEEEEEEHA!!!!!

Thanks. I meant: Does anybody have an idea what to check/do short of replacing the IAC and VSS?

Wouldn't you agree the Mr. Mikes seats are the most satisfying DIY project for a Fiero you can do for the money?
Looks great.

What was the outcome with the clutch?

Installed pix:

Nice match with the door panels, also Mr. Mikes:

And an "ambient" pic to round it all off...

Just a few pix from today (an excursion into the Netherlands) to bump my build thread :-)

Note the new exhaust pipes (I know the left one is still a little off but I had little time...)

Just browsing through my Fiero pix collection while doing a PC backup.

The 88 GT engine when it came out in January 2005:

And this is the same engine before going back in in November:

Here a before and after of the engine, first in the 88 GT parts car, second pic in my 87 GT:

I had the same problem when I tried to redo my seats with some grey and white fur i had laying around.

After the cat and wife stopped screeching it was easier to convince the wife to spring for Mr. Mikes. J/K.

Nice to see it coming together again. Which sealant did you use on the Y-pipe to manifold connection?

Just some stuff I got at ATU (a parts shop in Germany, for the non-Germans). Heat-resistant until 1000 degrees.

Yellowstone, the Fierostore EGR braided tube was one of the first mods I did to my Fiero! Someone had actually epoxied the original tube....because it had broken in two! Goodbye erratic idle... Anyways, make sure you re-check the two nuts that hold the egr flange to your egr. ( after 100 miles or so) For some reason mine worked loose after only 100 miles. So, I used some "split" washers to lock them down with.

Also, your module screws look a little rusty. (on the bolt heads anyways) Hope the threads are not in the same shape.
Something as insignificant as this can cost you early module failure..

Hey, I just noticed you put outer lenses over your taillights. You didnt like the look you had before?

I originally created (or copied, as I saw this someone else's Fiero) the "cut-out and painted" look as I had cracks in my lenses. Then I bought my 88GT parts car which had a good set of lenses and used these. I also bought a rear light panel with 4 round taillights but I liked the stock look better in the end...

Since the knocking sound that came from the engine when cold was getting on my nerves, the V6 came out again today...
