I'll never forget the day that he and I spent 8 hours adjusting a Rochester Q-Jet....before it even made it to the car. 8 hours of bench adjustments..........longest day ever.
SWEET! I own page 2 of Brick's thread

Do y'all know Freddy, aka WS6Fiero on this Forum? He's got a silver 88 fastback coupe with a SBC swap, and lives in Montgomery. http://www.angelfire.com/on/freddysplace/

I get to drive my baby again in a few hours when I get up to spend a half-day at work. Is it wierd that I'm looking forward to that more than, say, a date I have on Monday?

I once said that a car will treat you better than a woman.
Then I got into Fieros.....
Just kidding. I can't wait to install your test pipe. You know....to check...the catalytic converter. Just to make sure it is working before we....ummmm....put the cat back on instead of a straight pipe.

Got my TPS and dogbone tonight when I got home. I went ahead and put the throttle position sensor in. I now have this very strange thing, I think people call it "throttle responce." You know, where the car accellerates when you press the gas pedal, and not five seconds later? Yeah, that.
Got a bit overzealous with the dogbone... definitely a job for 2 people. Or one freak with three arms.
Plus for Ron Dittmer when I make enough posts to give those.

Thanks! My next project is to fix/replace/improve the stereo system. I love the sound of the 2.8, but hearing it droning on for hours at one speed will get to you. Currently, I have 1 speaker working, two others trying to work, and a nastily installed old pioneer head unit. Once I have extra money again, I'm replacing the old wiring, the 4x10's with 5 1/4" speakers and a tweeter on each side, and the 4x6s with 4" round speakers. I'm tempted to get the ugly, out of place head unit out, too. No amp or subs yet. I can't decide what brand I want to use, but I'm going to be aiming for quality.
